I think this is a case of some greedy true colors showing.

no belly ache in the world could make me not want to ever eat pasta again.
-
if all else fails I will drink a strong cup of coffee or two, that usually works it out for me.

Buy some of the Applegate Farms cured meats at Whole Foods. They have the nutritional info available on their website, so you can easily figure out how to fit that in to your day without having to "release the fat".

yeah, this seems plain silly. Just eat SOME sopresatta, not ALL the sopresatta, and you'll be fine.

i think good. i heart crunchy peanut butter.

If this were me I would eat some Kashi Go Lean cereal and an orange or grapefruit. Or some oatmeal.

I did not see her today, but I read last week that she would be coming out publicly about diabetes and advocating for a drug company. I guess what I read turned out to be true. I agree that is is irresponsible and dishonest. I think she should be embarrassed. What she should have done if her career choice was to share her…

use greek yogurt instead of mayo. I will also sometimes add some hard boiled eggs, whole or just the whites. It add some creaminess. I also add pickles or sweet relish (look for Wickles in your grocery store) to mine, along with celery and green onion.

well you can track your heart rate to make sure you are working out within a safe target heart rate zone, you can accurately track calories burned, you can track your progress and adjust your workouts as your heart gets healthier and can handle more strain.

this does not happen to me.

I put my loose produce in plastic bags in the veggie drawers. Some stuff - mostly fresh herbs I will wash first then wrap in a paper towel while still damp and put in a plastic bag. My rule is usually if it is stored cool at the store it goes in the fridge, if not I store it on the counter. I do put really ripe bananas in…

um, okay. I think you should carry on and eat the fish for dinner. I eat fish all the time and I have never seen a worm wiggling around. So if there are ever worms in fish I don't think they will kill you. Case in point: I am still alive. I am sure it also depends on where you buy your fish, I am picky about where I buy…

Personally, that would not be enough protein for me for 410 calories. I am sure others will comment on the sodium, but i dont really concern myself with that.

that happens to me sometimes after I eat an apple. i think it is because there is a lot of water in them and mostly fiber, no protein, so even though your belly is literally full and bloated it is not necessarily as satisfied. Try eating a small piece of cheese or a piece of a fruit & nut bar with it. Usually when I am…

just go. don't even think about it anymore. You will be so happy with yourself when it is over and you can still hang on the couch for a bit - and it will be even more enjoyable because you know you were not lazy and did something good for yourself today.

I think you get different benefits - a lower (but still elevated) heart rate will do more to burn fat, a higher heart rate is where you are increasing your fitness level. I use a Polar HRM that has a fitness program. You do a fitness test to establish your VO2 Max and then it sets goals for you and lays out what your zone…

I had a similar issue when I started running heavily. I would do 2 things - ankle exercises to strengthen and buy an ankle brace to wear when it is actively bothering you. Exercises: http://www.active.com/running/Articles/Ankle_care_for_runners.htm This is the brace I used:…

Any of the Ellie Kriger cook books are good. I love her. There is also one called Cook Yourself Thin that has some good recipes.

Dr. P's are by far the best. I love them. Sometime I can find the veggie burger pockets in my stores, they are the veggie burger wrapped in a pita type pocket. Those are also delicious.

This here sounds very similar to Kimberly's: http://annkroeker.com/2008/03/25/overnight-crockpot-steel-cut-oatmeal/

I have to agree with this. I love Mexican and usually give myself a break when I go out for it. Mainly because I think it turns into a situation where you try to get something healthier or less fattening, but it ends up being almost as bad as what I really wanted to get. It's like the chicken sandwich or the salad that is…

look at the ingredient list and see what is in them. the nature valley ones are probably not bad. I like the Clif Crunch or Kashi crunchy granola bars as an alternative to nature valley - i think the ingredients are better. And the kashi ones have more protein and fiber, i believe. For a fiber snack that is "processed" I…

my diary is open, and I love food. I pretty much exercise to eat.
-
nope. you'll be fine. i usually keep my syrup out of the fridge and I have never gotten sick or anything.

They sell these near me at Whole Foods & Safeway: http://34-degrees.com/nutrition.php

it definitely saves calories. The only way to know for sure how much would be to find out what the bread is supposed to weigh from their website and then weigh your bread after it is scooped
