Great job! That's a HUGE accomplishment. I've been training since February and I still can't go the whole 5k without a few walk breaks.

Your progress and perseverance are fantastic! Don't give up now. The end is slow and steady. You can do it!
-
You look amazing, and your happiness is evident. Congratulations!

Honestly, my workouts are my serenity/zen/something special. I'm married, I'm a mom of two grade-schoolers, and I have a 40 hour a week job, which doesn't seem to leave me much other "me time."

Since you don't know why you can't control your binges, have you considered speaking with a mental health professional? A competent counselor could really help.

Welcome to the club. This is not a problem I ever EVER thought I might have. My next stop might be the kids' section.

I log on either Sunday or Monday, and ONLY once a week. Whatever it is, it is. I usually weight almost every day, though I'm getting out of the habit. It was a great tool for seeing what a difference sodium or overdoing carbs does as an immediate effect.

I was using canned. If you have a Wegman's available to shop in, their canned black beans are very tasty.

This is really impressive, and I'm proud of you. GREAT JOB!

YOUR TUMMY PROGRESS IS AMAZING!! I'm so excited for you that I'm yelling. Good for you, and keep up the good work. Isn't it great to actually feel GOOD?

When I got down to 5 lbs left to goal, I took a break and ate at maintenance for a month. Afterward, I reset to lose .5 a week, and have had good success.

Sir, you and I could EAT.

Reese's. Peanut. Butter. Cups. FML.

Congratulations!

I have yet to see anyone mention American Eagle for outrageous vanity sizing. Size 0. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? After losing a crap ton of weight in my belly it is hard enough for me to judge what size to try on. I'm ok with taking two, which is kind of standard anyway (because you never know). Three didn't work...a fourth size…

THIS. Scramble a couple of eggs instead, or fry them in a non-stick pan with a tiny spritz of cooking spray. Have some grilled chicken, or tuna packed in water, or some fresh broiled fish, some steamed broccoli or green beans. There are a lot more satisfying foods, and some of them are cheaper than processed cereal. I…

I definitely prefer to do my own thing at the gym. Group fitness classes is not that thing. I like the zen of being in my own peaceful headspace.
-
Great job. You look amazing!

OMG, mine too! We should get together for group days.

QFT. When I lost the first time I was on a diet. I promptly gained it all back when I went off of my diet. My "diet" now includes pizza, beer, and chocolate...in moderation like everything else I eat and the exercise I do. I will NOT be going back this time, and you can do the same!

I gain serious weight in my face, and I can usually see a significant change every ten pounds or so. There is SO much difference between now and 50 lbs ago.

Not only was I heavier than I'd ever been, but I spent most of a year flat on my butt due to a pelvic issue. I swore when it was resolved that I'd never take my mobility for granted again. It resolved, and I delivered on my promise to myself. There are NO pictures of me at my heaviest.

Your progress is terrific! Also, keep kicking cancer's *kitten*.

Congrats!

I'm 5' 3.5", 39 years old. February 19, 2013, 5 months after deliver of baby #3, and the day I joined the gym. ~145lbs. July 8, 2013. ~122 lbs There's a 5.5" difference in my waist measurement between the first set of pics and this one. My hip/belly is now what my waist was five months ago. Still work to do, but it's…
