Depends on your lifestyle I lift 3 times a week and so I need a little more energy to get through on those days, so I eat a little more on liftin' days and eat a little less on the days I rest, so whatever fits in your schedule!

Haha! 1 pound is like the weight of a good crap! Don't be worried about that! Weight fluctuations like that are fine and normal, could just be water weight, I would keep the exercise up and wait a few weeks, you'll see the difference.

I've been lifting and doing high intensity cardio for 8 months now, and have had no trouble putting on and maintaining my muscle mass! HIIT has actually improved my endurance a lot, I can go for a lot longer when I lift. However, I am not running marathons or doing a heap of steady state cardio, I'm talking sprints here.…

There's no scientific evidence of the benefit to lifting or doing cardio in a fasted state, keep it real simple and just have some carbs for energy before you lift, and really exert yourself during the session. WHEN you eat does not even come close to the importance of HOW MUCH you eat and that's all there is to it.
