intermittent fasting and weight lifting

does anyone weight lift while fasting only to eat many hours later? i used to do my cardio that way but weight lifting is different...

    Hey i do the leangains style fast, i do weight training at around midday then eat straight after.

    There's no scientific evidence of the benefit to lifting or doing cardio in a fasted state, keep it real simple and just have some carbs for energy before you lift, and really exert yourself during the session.

    WHEN you eat does not even come close to the importance of HOW MUCH you eat and that's all there is to it.

    i've lifted and have done cardio in a fasted state. haven't died yet. if i do die, i'll probably stop.
