I'm down 35 pounds because of the site so far, looking to make it to 100 pounds. Add me as well!

I'm a big calved guy fwiw. I had big calves when I was in good shape, slightly bigger but less defined ones when I gained 100 pounds, and now they're more defined again. Still really big though. Every body is different and I've never been concerned with it. I can out calf-lift anybody! :)

I'm reminded of a song called "Heartbreak's a Blessing". It really seems to fit here. I hope this isn't terrible advice, but it is how I hope I would react. I would feel bad about myself for a bit, but only a little bit. And then I would look at myself in the mirror. And then I would use that motherf***ing rejection for…

Add me too! 63 more to go. And they will go.

Add me too! I've lost 37 out of 100 pounds so far. I've been stuck here for a while thanks to frequent "rewards" for exercise, but I'm still at it. Ready to drop the rest!

Everybody can add me too. 37/100 pounds lost so far. I'm struggling right now in part due to health and lack of discipline, but I'm still goin!

Wow, your story is pretty much identical to mine. Adding you as a friend...have a great 2014! Others can add me as well...

I'm adding you too. Always looking for new friends. I'm 35+ pounds in to a 100 pound planned loss. This site is spectacular and it works. Feel free to add me, everybody. Cheers!

keto can be great short-term. Do NOT get addicted to it. It damages your body long-term. Also know in advance that your breath is going to stank while your body is in ketosis.
-
You and everybody else can add me as well. I'm about 30 or so pounds into what I hope will be a 100lb weight loss. I'm on track and lovin life!

This is great advice. Thanks a lot. I'm going to premake food in my fridge, and label the container with the appropriate amount of calories. Then I can just grab and flop. Cheers all. :)

Right now, they're mostly feeding "us". However, Obama in the US has apparently announced wanting to bring modern agriculture techniques into Africa to help their problem with lack of food. Anti-gmo'ers are in an uproar as expected. But Africa may be a few years away from not being hungry anymore. It's not a slam-dunk by…

There are no free foods. Some foods are essentially calorie-neutral in that your body burns more energy processing the food than is actually in the food. However, all food-burning requires energy, so all foods should be tracked.

The only foods on the planet that I cannot eat are olives...they seriously make me gag..., asparagus, and beets. I don't know why, but olives are the absolute worst. Especially green ones.

There are many animals that will eat themselves to death given an abundance of food. Humans are one of them. We crave sugars and fats because they're relatively hard to come across "in the wild" and small amounts are essential for us. We didn't evolve in conditions like we have...an abundance of food, McDonalds every 2nd…

GMO food has been loudly and vehemently protested since the 70's. 4 decades now. In that time, it's been tested more than most "natural" food...natural being generally fallacious anyway. There have been literally trillions of servings of GMO food eaten by people. And still no hard evidence of being harmful. This is not to…

It's definitely an *kitten* thing to say. No doubt about that. It classifies whoever receives the comment as "a big girl" eg That is who you are. That said, we are naturally attracted to healthy people. Body types have varied a bit over the centuries, but healthy-looking is almost always a plus. It's one of my motivators…
