I finished the 21 day diet and lost 10 lbs. Now finished week 4 and down 12+. I quit buying their snacks, but recreate their snack packs with my own food. Planning to reduce one dinner meal a week to go out with the wife for a weekly salad night. I like the structure as it keeps me from over eating due to lack of planning.

I get taken out to lunch quite a bit by vendors and a number in our group are on high protein - low carb diets. Our favorite place is a seafood resturant where we order : cold boiled shrimp for appetizer fish with some type of topping sauted spinach or grilled vegetables

I started Phase 1 of South Beach on Monday June 6th and have lost 9.5 lbs in the first 10 days. I don't eat breakfast, so that hasn't been a concern to me. If you stick to Phase 1, I have been pleasantly surprised that it does kill your cravings and appetite for sugar or carbs. Personally, I have never eaten more calories and lost weight. However, I have an open mind and not fully convinced either way. I started reading some of the other threads and it appears many use wraps as their base meals for at least lunch. (Wrap, lettuce, chicken or turkey, salsa or dressing as a base) I have done that some but used an unhealthier tortillia instead of a healthy wrap. Thanks
