Working out with dumbbells, a portable bench, resistance bands and a medicine ball. Do my own workouts and spin on my own spin bike for cardio as well as taking dance classes.

Love lifting too, just wish I had more time to do it! I currently lift about 2-3x per week, but would like to get up to 5x per week. Have been lifting on and off for the past 29 years (yes, I'm that old).

Hit my weight loss goal! 40# lost and feeling amazing! Take that COVID!

Thanks for the great ideas on helping me to un-stick my muffins! My pan is older, so maybe I should invest in silicone or try the sausage idea. Great suggestions! I've found some really yummy tuna from Costco that only needs a little avocado mayo and some seasonings and doesn't taste too fishy! I forgot about…

Any tips on how to get my egg muffins not to stick? I sprayed the pan, always do, but they stick like crazy. I lose the entire bottom of every muffin. I have done cheese sticks, jerky, but pepperoni is a nice change of pace. I can't eat chicken or tuna right out of the packet without mixing it with mayo and spices. If I…

I love egg muffins! I've done this before as a quick breakfast and have been recently thinking of making them again. I could eat eggs all day, but don't want to get sick of them. Thanks for the recommendation!

My goal is to lose 50lbs by June 2020. I lost 50lbs about 6 years ago (my profile pic) and felt great, but my mind didn't catch up with my body's transformation and it was like I was in a dream, not grasping the whole thing mentally. I also lost weight very fast (5 months) by tracking and exercising like crazy. My body has…

Hoping this group will help me get back on track again. My profile pic is my success 6 years ago, losing 50lbs. I've gained about 40 of those 50 back and have focused on keto to get me back on track. Feel free to add me as a friend too! Wednesday January 1st. (for all those at home and turning over a new leaf) Sunday.…

Please add me too! I'm looking for friends who motivate! I lift 2-3x per week, just need to get more cut. I prefer free weights and functional exercises over machines.

I lost 50lbs in 5 months doing mostly cardio, but yep, not sustainable. Besides, I just didn't like feeling thin without some definition! That was at 39. Now, at 43, and 30lbs back on, I'm focusing on lifting primarily and trying to get my diet in-check. I would love more friends from this group to keep me on my lifting…

Same for me! I always had the belly bloat until I discovered a gluten intolerance and the protruding belly just vanished! If I cheat and eat gluten, not only do I feel the negative effects, but the bloat returns. Try some dietary changes and see if anything helps!

Absolutely! And my clothes are getting looser! I dropped maybe 1 pound, but have a ton more energy actually eating!

My latest NSV...no weight loss, but strength training the last 4 months and the muffin top over the jeans is almost completely gone, underarm flab is firm, and hubby says I look slimmer! I feel great (and strong) too!

Great ideas! I never thought of eggplant that way, so I will definitely give it a try! The coleslaw idea is great as well! I think I've seen even the prepackaged slaw, but do you eat it raw like that or add to it to make it creamy? I love raw bell peppers too! I guess I forget about that stuff when my family doesn't like…

Every time I step on the scale and it doesn't go down (or even slightly up), I consider cutting my calories. Then I realize that I really haven't been sticking to my calories every day and often eat over, so It's not the calories I need to cut, it's just that I need to eat the amount I am suppose to, every day.

"Do you ever wake up and just feel smaller..."@scaryann1 - absolutely! I love that feeling. Hoping to get it back soon. I have to say with eating more, I do have more energy and have been feeling stronger. The weight isn't coming off fast and the scale is barely moving, but I'm feeling so much better, stronger. I'm no…

I've been eating between my TDEE and cut for about 3 weeks now and after an initial gain, the scale is slowly (yes very slowly) going down, but I had 2 clients tell me that I looked like I lost weight when I actually had gained a few pounds! Something is going right here if looks are better than the scale, I'll take it!

@haybales - Thanks! Good to know! I have been attempting some strength workouts, just have not been super motivated or found anything specific I love and stick with. I have the P90X program and have used the workouts occasionally, but I don't seem to be able to stay with them more than a few days. When I try doing workouts…

I've enjoyed reading many of these posts...there are just too many to read! I've been eating at my cut of 1850 (even slightly below) and noticed a 2lb gain in a week. I was eating 1300-1500 with no results, no energy and a gradual gain over the past 2 years. I'm not that worried about the 2lb gain as everyone mentions it…

I downloaded the kit and started looking through the site as well. Both motivated me to take the step and make a change. If I wasn't losing weight by what I was doing, I figure it wouldn't hurt to make a change!

scaryann1 - very inspiring posts! I recently joined this group and changed my calorie goal today to be my TDEE with the 15% cut. It is a 300 calorie increase from what I have been eating with very little weight loss success. I will see how that goes for awhile. I'm so nervous about increasing calories, even though 3 years…

I came into the message boards and saw this topic as it was exactly what I was looking for. I've been on MFP over 300 days (although my counter doesn't reflect as I missed one silly day). I'm looking for motivation and support to finish my journey and final 20lbs to lose. Please add me if you are active daily and could use…

They are just jealous that you have a goal and motivation to go for your goals! I found that sometimes those closest to you (friends and family) actually are the most toxic to your goals because they wish they had the success that you do. It's best to ignore their comments and use your drive and motivation to push forward.…

Hi all! I just joined this group because I need an extra push to lose my last 20lbs. I've been on MFP over 550 days, although I miss 2 days, so my counter doesn't reflect this! I lost 50lbs and then put 10 back on and am holding steady at this point. I am addicted to spinning and bought myself my own spin bike as an…

Feel free to add me! I'm almost at my goal, but would love motivation as well to get through the last 10lbs.

Hi! Feel free to add me as I friend! MFP has worked for me and I would love friends to motivate and keep me motivated!
