No, I have no health problems. I just see the red numbers and worry that I may reverse all my hard work. But thanks for the list!

Thanks everyone!

Once a month, I try on my old clothes that I saved after my weight gain. Each month, they get easier to put on. I usually call this time "The Eternal Struggle" but lately that doesn't apply anymore. (Extra points to anyone who knows what show and episode that term is from  )

Thank you everyone! BTW - what does NSV stand for? Another great thing to report: I went to the doctor's for a check-up. My last one was a year ago, back when I weighed 197. Now I'm 177. 20 pounds lost in 1 year!!!

Thanks! I'll need to take a new pic to show the results. The one I have is from early March.

I'm 5'8" - not very tall, but not petite either. 165 pounds is considered healthy for my height and body frame.

Yeah, I'm self-conscious about my appearance. I guess being criticized for my weight by family and co-workers can do it. A lot of the women I work with are on Weight Watchers and I join in on sharing our weight loss victories and slumps. If lunch is ordered in for Professional Administrative's Day or for any other reason,…

Bump! OK, my scale is not broke - but something is odd. If my feet move the slightest or I am not perfectly straight or anything, my weight goes up and down easily. Like, from 187 to 185 to 181. That's a big range and I wonder if there's something wrong with my analog scale. Does anyone recommend a good but inexpensive…

I'm glad I clicked on this thread. Last summer, my periods were about 10 days late and it made me nervous. My OB/GYN sent me for blood tests and all came back negative. But then I got back to having a regular 30 cycle like before. But this past month, my period was again 10 days late. I haven't been exercising much but my…

If I were smaller, like a D or DD, I wouldn't be complaining.

Not only that, I didn't appreciate some of the guys here asking to show them pics. What kind of woman do they take me for? Do they think because I'm large they have a right to see them? That was disrespectful and misogynist, even if they were only kidding.

I went last month. I was originally measured at 34 but the bras literally dug into my sides and I had to attach those extra bands in the back. I might actually be 36 or 37 though. I did measure my cups on my own and from what I calculated it came to a G. My bra fights fine in the cups. Is it because I have wide shoulders?…

I hope I lose mine when I'm all done. Has anyone tried hula hooping with those cardio hoops? Do they work?
-
I went to Linda the Bra Lady in NYC and I measured 38G. Are you saying I should be bigger or smaller?
-
True, but perhaps she can refer me to someone?

Thank you Nino. My breasts are not causing me any pain. I have a broad back so nothing to worry there. I'll meet my OB/GYN soon to discuss breast reduction. It's very expensive and I don't have much money, but it will be worth saving up for.

My band size has decreased from a 40 to a 38. A good sign but I wish to see a decrease somewhere else too :)

Uhm, this is the Internet - you have plenty of porn to access. I know you're kidding (I hope) but no need for such comments.
-
Exactly. If you have large breasts you are immediately labeled as ditzy and slutty. They also sag as you age. Sigh!
-
I'm not too thrilled because I am just too big. I can't wear certain shirts or other tops. Also, not all guys like big breasts. There are some who find them ugly. Ever heard of the saying, "anything larger than a handful/mouthful is waste"? I find it both misogynist and hurtful. Also, I think GQ did a survery that shows…

Yeah, use the same spot and the same tape. I measure myself once a week after I weigh myself on Sundays, that helps me stay motivated and focused.
-
I guess every once in a while. If there's a BBQ or a holiday party or wedding, yes. Treat yourself then! Just don't make it a weekly habit, or even daily.
-
Hmm, that's an idea!
-
I don't eat processed foods. Well, occassionally if I'm too lazy to cook after a long day. But I don't eat processed foods on a regular basis.

I usually wear nothing. Maybe I'll have my underwear on if I just stepped out of the shower, but I think its best to weigh yourself with nothing on so you can get your exact weight.
