I'm just a few pounds away from closet shopping again. This morning I arrived at work and my pants felt looser around the waist. I thought I had two more holes on my belt, but while adjusting my belt I learned that I am completely out of holes. I'm making progress.

I'm in as well. Fighting my way back after years of inactivity. I did it before, so I'm going for it again.

I love MFP! It’s helped me drop 25 lbs so far.

Hello! Hope you’re enjoying MFP

Hello. I can’t offer much interns of advice for your journey. I just thought such a well-written intro was worthy of a response. Congrats on the birth of your second child. Keep pressing. I’ve been meatles for over three months now. I’ve found that to be a real positive for me. Good luck!

Hi

Welcome Julian! MFP has already made a big difference in helping me meet my fitness and health goals. Add some great support folks and stay consistent. Success is yours.
-
Welcome back. I’m glad that you’ve recovered from breast cancer. That’s a huge battle. Stay motivated. Feel free to add cause I have no idea how to do it. I’m trying to start and maintain daily logging habits. I send cheers and words of encouragement to the current list of “friends”. It’s been fun thus far.
-
Feel free to add me. I’m newly returned to MFP and could use the support too.
-
Glad you’ve made the choice to recover your health. Stay motivated!

Instantly felt your struggle reading this. You are stronger than you know. Never starve yourself. I’ve found early success focusing on one change at a time. Find what works for you - no fads just hard work. I look forward to the day when you post that you can successfully walk the stairs 3-5 times without struggling to…

Now that’s how you start a thread! Congrats on making the choice to transform your life. MFP definitely helps.

I’ll give a nudge or two if you stray from the “straight and narrow”. I’ve been away so long my active friends are...well...no longer active. I’m aiming for consistency and building a healthier me for my wife and kids. Feel free to add.

TM is mentally taxing to me. I’ve always read that adjustments to the incline can give similar results. When I lived in Syracuse, I just geared up and hit the outdoors. I was good for any temp above 20 degrees. Layers, layers, layers. Now in Florida, I have the opposite issue. The beauty of running is the freedom it…

Sounds like you guys are putting in work. My starting weight is about the same. Trying to get to 225 for summer 2018. Add me.
-
Awesome results thus far. Interested in knowing what you are doing to drop so quickly. Stay motivated. I’m taking the slow and paced road. I have a goal of 225 lbs by May 2018. More than that, I’d like to run another half marathon by next fall. Feel free to add me.

I’m definitely with you on the getting comfortable part. I dropped 61 pounds 4 years ago and thought that I could ease up on the positive habits that I had started. Over time I gained the weight back and a few more pounds and ailments. Past success was my best motivator. I know I have it in me. You do too! Like the…

Add me. My 4 year hiatus caused me to have a lot of inactive MFP buds.

My enough is enough stems from the embarrassment of knowing that I have been successful with transforming my life and letting it all go to waste over a 3-4 year period. During that time I avoided photos and had to buy big clothes again. At 41, I just decided that I’m not ready to be “old” and out of shape. Many people are…

Just reading your message and thinking about posting one myself. I’m back on after several years away. Wish I could say that I successfully kept the pounds off during that time. Add me if you want to. Many of the folks I depended on for motivation are no longer active. Good luck.
-
Can’t help with the gf part, but feel free to add me for support.
-
Enjoy the journey. I’m returning from a 4 year hiatus. MFP helped me a great deal. Logging is like a chore but I’m hoping to make it a habit.

I’m just getting back too after having a wonderful 2013 experience with MFP. Thought I had it all figured out, but the weight came back over my four year absence. Now at 40 it’s tough to lose, but I’m here working on it. Be encouraged!

Well done, sir. Great transformation.

Well done. Keep up the great work.

Excellent work sir.

Awesome work. Your goal is well within reach.

Thank you all. I'm still a work in progress. I see a couple of Orange fans and haters. I'm actually a NC native, so I'm proud to see the Orange in the ACC. Go Heels!! It's not where you're from, but where you're at. Til I get back home, I'll be Orange for now.
