Feel free to add me; my second boy is just over a year now and I started over again a couple months ago...good luck!!

Stress and poor sleep have a HUGE affect on your ability to lose weight. Cortisol levels (and other hormones) will be all over the place which is going to sabotage any good intentioned diet and exercise plan. Have you had your blood glucose or A1C checked? That could also be a factor. Also, I'm with lots of the others on…

It may be better for her to transition into juicing slowly to avoid such a shock to her system. Not sure what her diet is currently but have her eliminate things such as dairy and other animal products first for a few days while increasing her fruit and veggie intake and drink LOTS of water especially while she makes the…

I'm a peanut butter fiend too so raw almond or pecan butter on celery or an apple. Its pretty calorie laden but so worth it if you have room in your day plus good protein and yum!

yes! i think i'm going to log this as an ab workout

"hangry" love it!! seriously...some people thrive on drama and anger (hanger?). let them go, while anger requires a whole lot of energy, I'm pretty sure it doesn't burn calories... unless your initial post was something like "Single, white, masochistic female; bored out of my mind in Arizona looking for suggestions on…

For many people, juicing isn't a diet; fad or otherwise. I don't see where the initial post stated what her reasons are for juicing in the first place so can't be sure. I agree, fad diets suck, plain and simple. If something worked so easily as most fad diets claim, no one would be fat. However, there is so much more to…

Good luck to both you and your wife and thank you!

Thank you Bekah; I've been doing yoga but have only tried Pilates once some time ago. Maybe I'll give it another shot. The Army is how I wound up this way, good to hear from someone who is still doing it!

While, I think we should let ourselves splurge once in awhile with ice cream or whatever our craving is... While it does matter what your goals are, there are definitely differences in calories... So many people are overfed but still under-nutritioned (yes, I'm pretty sure I made that word up) Imagine 2 different people:…

I keep a mix of raw cashews, raw sunflower seeds and goji berries on hand all the time...great for a quick, healthy snack or after workout boost; good protein, good fiber, good antioxidants!

hehehe...welcome out of the shadows. feel free to add me :)

I'm always over too because I do a lot of juicing. Sometimes breakfast itself can put me at my limit. Depending on where your sugars are coming from (ie. what type they are) makes a difference. Waffles? probably not so good. Fruit? better choice. I'm told you can adjust your limits on here somehow but I couldn't figure it…

Me too!!

In the mean time, give her some warm tea with ginger, cinnamon and honey to help her belly :)

She shouldn't be experiencing any detox symptoms from only 2 juices. Is there any chance some of the fruit/vegetables were contaminated or bad? A reaction that quick sounds more like food poisoning or a GI issue rather than something related to juicing. I assume she's a bit older; did she talk to her Dr about doing this?…

-celery with raw almond butter if you want something sweet; with vegan cheese if not. -i keep a mix of raw cashews, raw sunflower seeds and goji berries around also. -its also pretty easy to make your own protein type bars; i use oats, dried fruits (which can up the carbs so be careful), a touch of agave and coconut milk…

i usually juice fruit for breakfast every day so I'm well over my limit according to what they say. There's conflicting sides on what's ok. i don't worry about mine since it's naturally occurring sugars in fruit. processed simple sugars, I would be concerned but otherwise, not so much. Go with how you feel, if you're…

i'm open! feel free to add me!

Everybody's right, you can't specifically exercise to burn fat from one spot. MUFAs (monounsaturated fats) are supposed to be the best fast for getting rid of a mush-a-belly (my pet name for my baby belly). As with everything out there though, take it with a grain of salt. I do like the reverse kitchen pushaways ideas :)

Wow, no I haven't had that problem at all. I take just the plan garcinia though so maybe you're reacting with something else in what you're taking. I've been taking it for about 2 months and it really seems to help especially when I kept blowing my knee out and couldn't work out. I know it could be mental but even when I…
