LCHF or Keto diet. Definitely doable if you cut out the bread and sugar and processed foods.

My training schedule has me doing 118 miles from Jan 1st thru the 31st. EEK. Taking it week by week. wk 1 - 13 (Wed Jan 1 - Sat 4th) wk 2 - 27 wk 3 - 27 wk 4 - 28 wk 5 - 23 (Sun 26 - Fri 31)

Missed some runs this month until I started my actual half-mar class last week. Did 16 miles this week. Scheduled for 21 next week. Also cross training 3 x wk. Pretty tired. My goal race is the Dallas Rock N Roll Half Mar 23.

Me too! I'm running my first Half on March 23. Only did 16 miles this week but will be at 21 next week. Just started training with a 1/2 mar. class last week. Did 6 yesterday. I'm so tired but scheduled for 5 today.

Did last week's long run on Sunday instead of Saturday. Awful -- felt like running in concrete, so I walked half the time. 3.3 miles wasted? Was supposed to do 4 - 4.5. Tonight's running class will do 2.5 plus hills so I think I may run an easy pace of 4 tomorrow just to get back into things. I have trouble running alone…

Is anyone doing a walk/run method? My class has us doing a 4:1 R:W for 30-35 minutes. I am itching to be able to run comfortably the whole 3 miles, but I know better than to rush things. Been there. Done that. How is everyone doing with this? Is C25K similar? Thanks.

I'm in the US but I'm actually traveling to London in November and will be running the MoRunning 5K in Battersea Park on the 17th with my husband and daughter. Can't wait -- will be my first race in a long time, and certainly my first outside the States. I'm terribly slow though, so just hoping to have fun.

Yep. I was the same way. We are looking for easy until we finally figure out that what works is hard work and a little deprivation. If we want to lose weight we have to say no A LOT. I'm in. My mini goal is to lose 10 by May 1st. Only lost 8-9 since Jan 20 but I feel a surge coming on.... Anyone else on Atkins/Keto/Paleo??
