I started using the calculator on P90Xcalories.com and entered my weight, time, and mid intensity and entered the calculated number but I bought a HRM a few days ago and after using that I have found it to be within 40-50 calories of the calculator.

I get to the gym when it opens each day and I am always having to remove plates that others left on or search for a missing dumbbell. I have limited time so I like to get in, keep moving and get out so I hate the time it wastes.

I have a Schwinn comfort bike that is basically a mountain bike that sits more upright and has a little narrower, less knobby tires. I use it for both and I have been really happy with it.
