Who am I? I'm Allison from Ohio. I'm 28 years old and have a desk job. I'm also studying for a big professional certification exam so I sit even more when I go home. I was skinny from birth through high school but gradually gained weight to where I am today. What are my goals? Lose 1/2 pound a week until I lose 60 pounds…

I was going to go to a fast food restaurant for breakfast but resisted the urge and made my own lower calorie version instead.

I experience the wanting to blow the rest of the day off.

I actually took a nutrition class that talked about how it is just a voice and that I have control over it. I know this but it is easier said than done. :( I just need to increase my strength.

I think the single portion idea is good.

My name is Allison and I am 28 years old and live in Ohio. I was alway the skinny girl up until 18 or so. Ever since then I have gained. I would like to lose 60 pounds. I am ready mentally and physically to do the work and make the changes necessary to achieve this goal. I know that I'll make mistakes and have off days but…

I have 60 to go! I would love to join you guys!

I need at least 9 hours too and often I'm still tired. I have had a sleep study and blood tests. I did have a vitamin d deficiency and once I got that taken care of I felt a little better but still needed nine hours and still do.

I would definitely let the dietician know the exact exercises you are doing and your goals of becoming an athelete again. She might adjust your calorie counts to help you with your goal.

Great job! Love the dress and bag in the before picture!

I keep mine private but I'm honest with myself. I definitely see the areas I'm weak.

Wow! I have the exact same problem. I've been logging for 25 days but don't have my diary public because it is just plain embarassing! I'm 28 and have about 50 pounds to get rid of forever!

Thanks! Congratulations. Weightloss can be a mental battle just as much as physical.
-
Congratulations! You really worked hard and it shows!

I went home and exercised! And I liked it!

I sent you an add request! I am in the exact same situation. This time I feel different. I'm going to keep going. I'm not going to expect immediate results on the scale. :) I can do it and you can do it!

I have a recumbant bike. I lost weight using it about 2 years ago while eating healthier and doing a light handweight/pushup routine after biking. I used a heart rate monitor to make sure I was pushing myself enough. I am starting to get back into exercise and diet again.

Awesome! Such visible results! Great job! :)

This sounds like a great plan! I have recently joined a gym and will be walking for cardio. I would like to eventually lose 35 pounds in the next year. I want to look great for my sister's wedding. My biggest challenge is limiting calories. I'm 27 years old, 5 foot 6 inches and weigh 190. Nice to meet you all!
