I totally understand, but stay with it!!! Others will notice as well!!! Keep drinking your water!!

Just up your protein to half your body weight in grams and make sure you drink half your body weight in oz for water.

I'm here!!

I don't think it matters what you call it, I'd get my own hrm and base my calorie burns off that, not what a machine or mfp says. Your calorie burn changes over time, as your heart gets stronger. Today's workout compared to Saturday's workout doing my 5 mile walk/run was 75 calories less than the workout over the weekend!!

I have my macros set @ 30/30/40 for carbs/protein/fat. However, protein should be @ 1/2 your body weight in grams. It's easy to remember, since your water should be the same, too, only in oz. Based on your tdee average, subtract 1000 for 2 lb/week loss & 500 for 1 lbs/week loss. Don't eat more than that amount. If you have…

Sore muscles will cause weight gain, but cardio will make the weight come off quickly. Make sure you are getting enough protein, 1/2 your body weight in grams, and drinking enough water (1/2 your body weight in oz). 1500 for sodium is a great, achievable goal, and you can lose quicker with that for your diet. To lose a lb,…

What worked for me: 1) drink more than 1/2 my body weight in oz for water 2) cut out pasta, rice, bread, little dairy 3) eat lots of bunny food (leafy greens & veggies) 4) weigh daily to gain momentum & motivation 5) get a heart rate monitor for workouts to measure burned calories accurately doing cardio 6) get a fitbit to…

Depends on your diet & your sweat (workouts). I lost 15 my first month, but I was obese. I changed just about everything I was doing to see results. I stopped drinking the 2 liter of coke a day & switched to water, drinking more than 1/2 my body weight in oz, ate more bunny food (salads), cut out a lot of carbs of breads,…

It's under the Apps category, on the lower right hand side. :)

I like to eat some portioned grilled chicken or do some carrots or oranges.

Great success!!! Congrats!!! It's great that it didn't take you years to realize you wanted to drop the weight! :)

Exercising has not benefitted my budget. My DH got laid off a year ago, and once he found a job with a raise, I went crazy with my food budget!!! With two stuffed fridges, I really need to eat out of them & not be buying so much food!! lol oy It was during the buying spree that I lost 71 lbs. I need to get my budget back…

Congrats on the new babies in the house!! So exciting!! Start today logging everything! When I started on March 8, 2013, I had already had a large 52 oz coke & a couple steak & cheese burritos... That was Day 1! You'll have better days & some not so much, just log it all!! Look for ways to get the veggies in, maybe it's in…

My goal is to lose a total of 106 lbs & have lost 71 so far in 9 months. What has worked for me: eating bunny food daily, drinking more than half my body weight in oz, wearing a hrm & a fitbit (walking more than 10k steps daily), and logging everything-even if I go over-every day. Add me if you'd like. :)

From the beginning, I changed my macros to 30/30/40 for carbs/protein/fat. But, my calories are what I pay more attention to vs my macros. However, I have a goal to keep my protein to about 1/2 my body weight in grams. It seems to work for me. Add me if you'd like. :)

I've learned that when I limit the breads, pasta, & rice, the weight has fallen off quicker. But, the end result is reduced calories. If there's an issue with water retention from too much sodium, just up your potassium, mostly found in bunny food for pre-weigh-in days. Add me if you'd like. :)

Without looking @ your food diary & calories burned, you may be eating too much? Weigh yourself daily to make sure you are on track, eat bunny food, protein to equal 1/2 your body weight in grams, & water at least half your body weight in oz. If you are eating too much sodium and/or processed foods & not enough bunny food…

If I don't buy it or make it, I'm good. Refraining is best for me!!

http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm I use this website as a back up for how many calories I need to be eating. With no workout calories burned, goal to lose 2 lbs/week, you can lose the weight based on 1175 calories eaten for your height @ 5'2", 33, 254 lbs. The more you workout, the more you get to eat…

You are supposed to drink half your body weight in oz a day. Eight cups a day is great for a 64 lb person!! lol I drink 150 oz a day & have been for almost 9 months. It rids the sodium in your diet. To flush out sodium, you have to drink more water &/or eat more potassium.
