  • Nottingham, England!
  • That was my starting weight and height! Feel free to add :) Best of luck :)
  • I was worried about maintaining too, have been the same for around 3 months now, Have lost about 50lb overall. At first I ate the same and just weighed in a bit more before changing anything, I also tend to indulge a bit more at weekends and be really good in the weekdays, just take it day by day, changing little things…
  • Thanks a lot everyone, I realise now that the calorie difference would be pretty small. I just like to be accurate. I don't usually have frozen broccoli, prefer to buy fresh, but bought this for something a few weeks back, and now want it gone, so am going to eat it all (as part of a balanced meal of course :) ) thanks…
  • trying this!
  • Same as everyone here, weigh early as possible am, after bathroom before breakfast. Plus always in the same place, on the same carpet in the same room etc, flattest place (House must be wonky) I tested a few areas and picked the most consistent, sounds obsessive..but it needs to be accurate right ? :) I also usually take…
  • I am! I just have one cat...ill post a photo later...I always say I'm lucky to have my boyfriend...or I would just have a house full of cats.. Would love more, but my existing one wouldn't like it! Don't want her upset! Love cats and their funny ways :)
  • I log in advance during the week, usually by a few days, helps to ensure I use the fresh food in the fridge and including planning treats in to! I do make adjustments if things change and am honest both ways, over and under, its worth it to be honest with yourself :) Also helps to see what causes gains and losses etc. Well…
  • give it a month, then give it three months...it will take a while for your body to adjust.. Also make sure food is accurately logged, I made this mistake for years! weigh and measure everything, especially at first, and forward planning is brilliant for lower calorie lifestyles, means you can plan the treats too :) Best of…
  • I stick to 1200-1300..recently upped to 1300 for maintenance to slowly increase ...you can add to see my diary for ideas for the past few months, I find planning ahead really helps with lower calories, plan snacks too..though I must admit, I am bad at the weekends, especially last weekend, but definitely my week days might…
  • I love all of these Tv shows! Secret eaters, supersize superskinny, fat families, biggest loser, and some US ones called I used to be fat and bulging brides. I think its mostly down to laziness and education about portions and calories, people just dont seem to be aware til they are told, all good shows though, everyone…
  • Open diary here, mainly asda or morrisons shopper!
  • amazing, well done :)
  • amazing :) best of luck :)
  • I found this post during a google search for 'coccyx pain, weight loss' have lost 50lbs and recently have been experiencing a bad tailbone pain, I sit all day at a desk at work, drive to and from work for an hour each and then sit in the evening, the pain happens after I have been sitting for a while....is this due to the…
  • my diary is open :) boring in the week days, and usually wayyyyyyyyy over the calories at the weekends, always honest though :)
  • I agree with the statement but not the article. I have no friends left, its seems a waste, weight loss was partly to feel better going out. Now I don't ever go out. Mixture of stuff, probably me to blame asusual
  • I tried the pasta from this about a year ago, followed the instructions, added a nice sauce as I would with regular pasta, I'm pretty good with 'cardboard' food, but this...was awful..I couldn't get over the texture, just wasn't right, far to chewy...needed more of a powdery texture maybe, was like, what I imagine chewing…
  • nottingham here :) feel free to add, im here everyday, logging the good bad and truely honest pig outs too!
  • bump for later I avoid gluten for diet reasons, works for me :)
  • mine have completely gone, have lost 50lb, went from a 36D to a 32C/D...but more recently they look horrible :( just loose skin, I do miss them a bit now, but I don't miss the other weight! Get less back ache too..on the plus side..
  • Im in the East Midlands :) Add me if you want I log daily :) and though sometimes hard...honestly :)
  • Weigh everything! portion control is definitely the key! and logging, everything, as previously mentioned :)
  • I think that everybody works differently, I had previously followed a calorie controlled diet, weighing and logging with MFP, along with exercise and experienced little to no weight loss.. a pound here and there etc. I had also tried atkins, and slimming world, with no weight loss. Gluten free for me has been positive and…
  • I am gluten free through choice, though some tests I had taken showed that I had a wheat-intolerance, though I have heard there are no medical grounds to back this up. I eat gluten free 99% of the time, apart from the odd treat maybe every few weeks to monthly. Since going gluten free/wheat free, and properly looking at…
  • Anyone can add me, I log everything daily, mostly eat gluten free and love supporting people through their journeys. plus always keen for more diaries to stalk :) add away :) x
  • I'm worried about maintenance too, I think it will be harder than losing! That seems easy/normal now! I don't want to get thinner tho, hate getting rid of my clothes when they are too big its annoying! Maintenance is soon for me, plan to just gradually increase my calories by a few a day, weigh every other day and hope to…
