The 1500 it has given you is a base figure. On top of that you are "suppose" to eat back your exercise calories as MFP has already factored in your deficit. If you don't eat all or some of these calories back you could be eating too few calories and actually slow your progress.

Just wanted to say you look so much healthier now with a bit of weight on. Congrats on getting your ED under control.

Firstly is he your boyfriend or husband. Your profile say one thing and this post says another. Your profile was created a little over a year ago so if he was the boyfriend then why on earth did he marry you in that time if he isn't attracted to you. Your husband needs to check himself, It's not you that has a problem

THIS, sorry to say you wasted your money seeing a nutritionist. Anyone can call themselves one, even you and I. Go and see a dietician.
-
Onederland would mean I was at my ultimate goal.
-
For me that is a big yes. If you are going to be giving out advice or a healthier life you had better practice what you are preaching
-
you should be eating more than 1500 being so young.

My knees are the same when I squat, the doctor told me as long as there is no pain it's ok

So eat your exercise calories back. If you are going for a walk eat more during the day. Not that hard really.
-
Obviously you have no clue how MFP works!
-
The above is wrong. The activity level does not include exercise. The activity level is your daily chores doing shopping, working. etc etc. You should be eating back your exercise calories whatever you set your level at if you are following MFP
-
The way MFP is set up, is for you to log and eat your exercise calories back. If you notice it gives you a baseline amount of calories then when you add exercise you should see you daily calorie goal increase. There has already been a deficit built into your baseline calories. If you don't eat those exercise calories back…

You weigh your foods. I weigh my steak and most meats after they are cooked. I weigh all my veges raw before cooking. If i'm cooking stew or soup etc I weight the meat raw. Go and get yourself a set of kitchen scales they are pretty cheap about $10.00 it will help you greatly logging your food.

Didn't work for me either I just gained. I don't believe in the whole eat more rubbish. I went back to what did work for me.

I'm 5'10 and lifting 63 kilo from the floor. The biggest of my weights is 15 kilo ones so they sit fairly low to the ground. I have a bad lower back and as long as I keep my back straight and keep good form all is ok.
-
It doesnt work any better than following MFP and eating your excerise cals back. Your weight loss will be most likely be slower also.
-
I agree I think your form must be off. I have a bad lower back and lifting 63 kilos at the moment and not sore at all. In fact I think lifting has helped it greatly.
-
obviously she and you both no nothing of how MFP works.
-
Yep I had a bad case of white coat syndrome. My BP was like the OP's at the doctors. she lent me a BP monitor to track my BP at home 4 times a day for a week. It also showed my BP as high every time. Doc wanted to put me on Meds straight away but I declined as I was having trouble with taking my BP with the monitor at home…
-
Have you checked your BP at home for a week?
-
On your bike means to nick off, go away, mind your own business. etc etc.
-
Why when the OP is asking for successes eating 1200 do we have the usual suspects coming into the thread to tell us how bad eating 1200 is. If you don't or haven't had success on your bike. Geeze.

If you set your goals through MFP to the recommended to lose setting and eat the calories it suggests you will lose weight as it already creates a deficit for you.
