I use the Polar F7. I just got it at Best Buy for around a hundred bucks. I tried many others but this was best for me. It does require a chest strap but its very comfortable. So happy I can finally accurately report my calories burned!

Sounds like your on the right track. Lots of people on this site talk about P90X with great results. I myself want to try it but need to save the money to get it first.
