  • Seeing such low #'s on insanity compared to others results was really getting me down because it felt like a "waste" even though I was tired and extremely sore. Knowing that the after effects are different with this style makes me a feel a bit better. perhaps i'll keep my HRM on tomorrow after i do it to compare calories…
  • aw just saw this! maybe try messaging all or making a group? since we don't get notified of posts on the thread
  • a challenge you say?!
  • ohh, I think some models do that but the FT4 doesn't
  • I can't decide if I want to spend $42 for the monitor or $60 for the whole set >.<
  • Mine went missing Saturday UGH. I've only had it a few weeks so I'm quite mad at myself for this. It's almost as much to replace the monitor as it is to buy the entire set!
  • Mine is MIA at the moment as well! :( Made it through a mud run and then I lost it afterwards when I was changing I think. The best I found was for about $43 on Amazon for the monitor & strap. But I paid less than $70 for the entire set so I'm a bit annoyed at the idea of spending that much just for the monitor. What did…
  • Since I got no response I contacted Polar directly. They said the watch would definitely stand up in mud/water and to clean it with water and mild soap. However they did specify that whenever the watch is submerged not to press buttons. I am so excited to try it out at my race this Saturday!!

I also have been itching for the new balance minimus shoes but haven't quite gotten myself to buy them because I'm nervous of switching to a…
  • This is true! I can run faster and longer on a treadmill but once outside it's a different story. So always if you can run outside and find hills! I'm one of those people addicted to obstacle course races and i always struggle through the running because I never prepare enough! ugh. If you must run on a treadmill though…
  • I've tried doing it about 3x and always end up stopping! UGHHH

  • I never keep up with Insanity when I try to do it...adding you! :)
  • I just read this post and she seems to have lost a lot of inches from it! :) I've personally not been able to successfully do the entire DVD set. Life always seemed to get in the way and other days I just wanted to do a different workout so the furthest I made it was three weeks. I started again last night with the fit…
  • You're not supposed to need anything for Insanity that's additional. I've only done three weeks myself which is where this person is at and I know at that point I wasn't using anything extra. P90X you need extra though
  • what terrible spelling mistakes. stupid phone autocorrect. hopefully you knew that I meant first race i wore capris but now I wear shorts lol.
  • Hey there! I'm doing the rugged in April but I did the Spartan sprint today. They're awesome but if some parts can be a little grueling.I think Spartan is considered one of the harder 5ks but anyone can do them! Definitely work on strength! Especially arms youll be crawling climbing ropes and walls etc. Definitely bring a…
