You are beautiful by the way! I love that red hair!

305 before 163 after!

Every 20 to 25 lbs for me until I dropped below 200. Then my waist size seemed to drop faster while my shirt size didn't move much.

You have to set yourself up to succeed. Example. I used to find it really hard to not snack at night. I'd try to stop but I'd just end up cheating. Solution: leave night time snack calories open.

The man above speaks the truth. Now that I'm maintaining I use more than just the scale to check in. Best way for me? I put on my pants. If they fit the same then I'm doing okay.

8 I love me some red hair!

This! I have treats all the time and have lost lots. If I don't add it in I'll cheat and eat it anyway. No reason to completely cut out the things you love. Just cut down the amount!

While I may not log everyday for the rest of my life, I will at least keep a tally in my head. Eating without worry was how I got to be 305 lbs.

Yep.

Great job!

This! I had to do this until I got my snacking under control.
-
Amazing!
-
Nice! Great idea. I might give it a go myself :)

Yep.

Who needs a gym with all that at home? Myself, I think gyms are huge ripoffs. I've lost almost 140 lbs and been to a gym maybe 5 or 6 times during the whole process. Who needs all the contracts and hassle?

29 here! Anyone who wants, feel free to add me :)

No.

I love it. I don't even drink regular milk anymore. I get the unsweetened 30 cals a serving kind. It leaves about 130 more calories I can use for oatmeal in the morning!
-
You look amazing!

Thanks all! And by the way, threads like this are so inspiring. Every time I would feel like giving up I'd just hope on and look at what you wonderful people are doing. Keep up the good work everyone.

When I had the extra 135lbs being cold was something that never happened. I could go outside with shorts and a t-shirt and still get sweaty walking around. Now, I go jogging with a jacket and sweatshirt and sweatpants. I used to think I was warm blooded. Nope. I'll tell you though, loosing the weight makes for much more…

The first pic is at 305lbs, the second one is at 169lbs! Almost there!

I've had to replace my wardrobe several times over the last year unless I wanted to look really silly. Thank god for thrift stores. They keep me from going broke. Plus, I find name brand stuff that I would never be able to buy new. I feel like a rock star walking around town now!

I was 305 September of 2012 and have now made it to 169! I have tones of pics if you want to check them out on my page. You can do it. Feel free to add me if you want more friends.
