I just started strong lifts 5x5. It's super simple. Great for progression and has an app to help with training.

I love the runtastic apps. Abs and butt trainer are great.

The best estimator I've found for those type of situations is to use a heart rate monitor. If you want MFP to give you a quick estimate go to the cardio section in the exercise part of your diary and add 30 minutes of circuit training. It won't be perfect but it will give you a ballpark.

Well worth it! I'm almost done with season 1.

Besides the tips above, I found also making sure my upper body is relaxed helps a lot. If I'm tensing up my shoulders, face, and so on it makes it hard to breathe. Also making sure you're standing up straight. That also helps.

I find building muscle throughout your whole upper body helps. It doesn't make it go away put it fills it in a little better.

My mom has the same issues. She swims. It helps her a lot!

I take a potassium supplement and eat a banana or two a day. I bet salt is the issue. While losing weight I always did my best to cut down on sodium. I might try cutting the potassium supplement and see if just the banana and some extra sodium will do the trick. Thanks for the advice!

Hey! So I pretty much came from the same place you are. What really worked for me was starting at a small attainable goal and increasing it every few weeks. The increasing is what is important for overall fitness. If you have a smartphone you can use apps to track your walking miles and pace and use them to improve you…

I'm down! I'm a new running and I'm currently working up to running a 10k. I want to do a half marathon by this summer. So far I'm at 16.79 miles this month.

Hey! I've just got through the couch to 5k and I'm working on the 5 to 10k. Somethings that helped me: Making sure I'm eating enough carbs and protein. Your body needs both for running. Staying hydrated. Good shoes and insoles. Go to a running shoe store where someone can help you pick out a pair that works best for your…

She loves the summer! And a good dresser!

I'd set a smaller goal. Maybe even take it 5 lbs at a time. That's what I did. If you want a buddy feel free to add me.

If you have a smartphone try out the app rundouble for its couch25k program. It helps you build up to a half hour of running. The great thing about it too, if you find you're not ready to move along to the next level, you can repeat days as often as you need. I did week one twice.

Unless you are using a recipes that has the calories counted out for you already it is best to just measure out each one. It can be tricky when mom is the one cooking though! I'm home for the holidays so I feel your pain!

Thanks for the info all! After losing 145 lbs I just don't think I can bring myself to eat a surplus anytime soon for a normal bulk and cut cycle. I'm okay with it taking a while. I just don't want to look so scrawny!

You are beautiful by the way! I love that red hair!
