Hey everyone. I was just looking for more information on body recomposition. Any good books or websites or any other sources I should check out? Thanks!

    Recomp is actually very simple:

    Eat at maintenance calories.
Have a good protein intake (between 1g/lb of LBM to 1g/lb of bodyweight)
Have a good, progressive weight training routine.
    And patience, lots of patience.

It doesn't suit everyone - already lean, already training near peak strength for example.

My own experience is a steady addition of half a pound of lean mass per month but I'm much older than you and have been weight training since the dinosaurs walked the Earth....

    Have a read:

The other option is to cycle calories, eating a slight deficit on rest days and a small surplus on lifting days, but the jury's out on which is more effective.

Thanks for the info all! After losing 145 lbs I just don't think I can bring myself to eat a surplus anytime soon for a normal bulk and cut cycle. I'm okay with it taking a while. I just don't want to look so scrawny!
