Fiance was in the ER last April for his gallbladder. The gallstones settled in the neck and cut off bile movement. Finally gave up and got the surgery in November after 7 months of attempting to manage through diet (and his diet was pretty good!). He feels better and is so much happier after getting it removed. Our normal…

I weigh every day and write it on a calendar. That way I can easily compare to 1-4 weeks ago and see progress. I like weighing daily because it reminds me to make good choices throughout the day. I found when I weighed less often, my goals weren't in the forefront of my mind when someone brought snacks into the office :)…

4-5 oz baked chicken seasoned with olive oil. 1.5 cups grapes or 2 clementines About four stalks of celery (I cut up two packages per 5 day week) And a redbull (yeah yeah, I know) Ends up being about 600 calories I think off the top of my head, but I eat it in 2 portions at 10 and 2 usually and my other meals are lighter…

Diet soda. Banana split or Nachos?

My fiance had his galbladder removed 2 months ago, so we've been eating really low fat. Here's what he eats: Breakfast: hard boiled eggs, banana, apple. Lunch: Baked chicken, steamed broccoli, canteloupe Snack: Raw carrots, blueberries and grapes, fruit juice, ritz or whole grain crackers. Dinner: Chicken or fish, baked…

I've been on a cereal kick for a long time- just so easy to prepare, but my favorite breakfasts are english muffins topped with peanut butter and banana or avocado on toast. And coffee... always coffee.

Congratulations on your success!!!

I craved it like crazy... turned out I was vitamin D deficient. Maybe consider that??

An easy low cal dinner that's high volume could be chicken, veggies (I like frozen mixed veggies) cottage cheese and a piece of fruit
-
2 cups of coffee with cream (105 cal) and then a couple hours later I'll have some kind of veggie stir fry, fajita or small pizza with as many veggies as I can fit. Works pretty well.

You look beautiful in every picture, but so happy for your success! Congratulations and thank you for sharing!

It's the little victories that add up to giant ones :) Go you!

Omg thank you for this! I just started X Train Fit. What motivation! You look fantastic.

The cool thing about weight lifting is that it doesn't burn calories, but it builds muscle which raises your resting burn rate (You'll burn more calories ALL THE TIME the more muscle you have). Also, even though the scale doesn't go down, you do get skinnier and more toned (A pound of muscle takes up less space than a…

Figures. I assumed the same thing, that a perfect butt was the result of exercise and good health. Don't worry, a fit butt is a sexy butt; it doesn't have to be completely perfect to be awesome :)

Great job! Think of all the cute summer dresses!
-
Great job! You must feel so awesome right now! Love the hair btw. Blonde is good on you
-
Looking great! Congratulations to you, may you continue to be an awesome role model for your little guy.

You look fantastic! Well well done! And I love your face. I agree with the person who said stop picking on yourself. It's so easy in a weight loss marathon to constantly focus on what we'd like to change. The hard part is learning self acceptance and being comfortable with our flaws or less than desired genetics. You look…

Is this all you have? Turkey, cucumber and avocado wrapped in a lettuce- burrito style!

I would google exercises for people recovering from knee injuries. Cardio type exercises might be more difficult, but no reason you can't spend this time to get your lift on! Chest, back, arms, core, work on that for a while. You can also spend more time working on your flexibility. You mentioned yoga and pilates. I've…

Bar/restaurants usually carry skinny margaritas. Outback steakhouse has an awesome one. It tastes better than the regular. Skinnygirl Vodka is a popular brand as well.

It's not really a lot. The amount of calories MFP gives you depends on your weight loss goals and your current weight.

Smoothies, juice, flavored lemonade...

I pack a big caesar salad, some fruit (cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries) some carrots and a little container of peanuts. If you get bored with a salad add different things to it: sunflower seeds, different dressings, baby tomatoes, peppers, onion, cucumbers, different cheeses, white, orange, feta crumbles... There's a…

I order something I know the preparation of at a restaurant. Burgers are a no-go. Many places cook them in oil so they don't stick to the grill. I'll eat chicken or fish (salad, sandwich, whatever) and a side of fruit, veggies or soup. Then I go in MFP and add all ingredients separately. It's not perfect, but it will get…

I hope so! Also, where can I get these molds?!

This made me laugh so hard! Thank you! Great words of wisdom to live by and very well said!

Hi Jen! You just combined two of my favorite things, cycling and restaurants. I'd love to get together. I do have a 60 degree rule when it comes to my bike though (I'm kind of a wuss....)
