Sorry to hear about the split up. I have no ideas for dating, I haven't had the best luck in life and when I finally found the guy I am with, I litterally stumbled over him (long story!) Until you find someone.....keep up the great work! Looking good!

That didn't work either! dang

Weigh in day!! Last tuesday: 277.6 today: 276.2 lost 1.4 lbs (2.8 since I started the challenge!)
-
OMG!!! I copied and pasted the links and saw your pics!! You are doing AWESOME!!!! Some resistance band work will help tighten up in the areas you need. If I could suggest the 6 Week Body Makeover, I wouldn't do the diet part but the exercise part is awesome! Keep up the GREAT work!!
-
You ROCK!! Keep it up! You are in my prayers!! :))
-
Mine is also one I have used for over ten years. It is a combination of my Maiden name Sierra and my oldest son's nickname Skooterbug (long story how he got that nickname! lol). I use it for everything!

weigh in: 277.6 that's a loss of 1.4 lbs!! (almost 10 lbs since i started MFP 2 wks ago!!!) :)

Just a note about processed sugars versus natural sugars: it takes your body 10 days to process EACH teaspoon of processed sugar that you eat while it only takes half that time for your body to process natural sugars. I learned this from a nutritionist while changing my ADHD son's diet. Just an interesting tidbit of info…

I looked at your diary and you look like you are doing GREAT! I can make one suggestion. Try not to eat foods as high in fat. The high fat foods are more likely to cause weight gain than low fat foods, even with a calorie deficit. This has happened to me before. Other than that, you look like you are doing great.

I would definitely like to partake in that mini-goal!
-
Hope its not too late to join!! Starting weight as of this morning: 279 (eight lbs lost since last tuesday!!!! YAY!!!) Good Luck everyone!!
-
I tell you you can do it too!!
-
Lets see, I get to chase my 4-yr old around, do dishes, cook chicken, and clean house since I have to work thursday, friday, and saturday this week! Then Mom is coming over this afternoon for some 6 Week Body Makeover exercise and dinner!! Yay!!

Good morning to all my MFP friends!! I propose a morning toast (with my glass of juice) Here is to the weight we have lost, Here is to the weight we WILL lose, Here is to the people who said we couldn't (showed you didn't we!), Here is to the people who said we could (you're the best!), And here is to all of us on MFP One…

I would find a quick high protein snack. You shouldn't be that low on cals its not good for your body.

I have my 6th glass (which measures 12 oz) right here by my mousepad!!

Believe me, I am not going anywhere!! Once I set my mind to something I do it. My fiance' calls me the most stubborn person he has ever met! My problem has always been a lack of motivation. That day with my four year old is my motivation. Also, my mother has also decided to join me in my goal. She is extremely overweight…

TY geraldhenry! It is always nice to hear good things. I was starting to doubt my own motives for a moment when I read Paolinat's post. My goal is not to look good (although I know it will be a side effect), it is not to be the sexy soccer mommy, it is just to feel better so I can enjoy my children while they are children.…
-
To Paolinat: In so far as taking my goals seriously, if I weren't taking them seriously I wouldn't be here. Also, if you looked at my diary you will notice the LACK of "1 bag of ruffles potato chips" "2 snickers bars" "2 Honey buns" "2 Heath Bars" which used to be my average snacks in a day. You will also notice that there…

Not sure if you are familiar with it but I do the demo's at Wal-mart. The samples that are in the stores? I stand and walk around for 6.5 hours while cooking and handing out food samples. When I get home from work I am exhausted and feel like I have run a marathon! I know this is because I don't do much at home that I…

Central missouri here but not for long! Movin to kansas in may.

I would say it is water weight. But hey, a pound lost is still a pound lost! You go girl!!
-
You too!! And have fun with that little girl! One day I will be able to go out and run around with my four boys! That is my goal, to be able to play with my kids and not get winded every 5 minutes from being almost 300 lbs!! One day at a time! That is what I tell myself everyday!
-
This is a great website to use for activities that aren't listed in MFP's activity calculator: http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php Its what I use. Good Luck!!
-
It would appear we are in the same boat here! I have about 100 lbs to lose and I get very frustrated because of that. It seems like nothing ever works! Just log what you eat, try to stay in your goals and exercise everyday. If you fall off the wagon, pick yourself up and climb back on. That is what everyone is telling me.…

My one piece of clothing that brings out my "sexy": NOTHING! My dream clothes?? Anything smaller than what I wear now: A size 20W!
-
Like I said, I am not bashing anyone because I know that everyone has goals for a reason and those reasons are valuable to them. I just think to myself, kind of as a goal I guess, that it would be so nice if that WAS the only thing I had to worry about. I don't think that anyone's self image is vain by any means.…

You could pass us ALL some of that will power! I can hardly even resist my sons toast in the morning! (Which by the way he always smothers with butter and honey, yet he never gains a pound!! I am sooooooooo jealous!!) Great job! Keep it up!
