I am the same! In fact I just made myself eat an apple and cheese stick so that I would make it over 1200 calories. You need to eat at least 1200 so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. Try yogurt or a smoothie as a way to boost your calories without feeling overly full.

I dont like to go over 1200 if I don't work out or 1500 if I do, some days I have to make an effort to ensure that I am getting at least 1200 calories. You have to eat!!! I felt hungry all the time for the first week or so until my body adjusted. Now I have to actually make sure I am eating enought calories. Also, if you are only trying to lose five pounds than set your diet to maintain. Between maintaing a set amount of calories and consistently working out you should lose the five pounds…

I'm usually over on protein too but I don't think you should worry to much, better to be over on protein than on fat! Are you working out? Extra protein is great when you are working out.

I love this workout but it totally killed my knees :( My advice, don't do the knee circles!! I would only use this for a day I can't make it to the gym just because of my knee issues but overall its the best 20min workout ever!
