  • I'm trying to get back into it. Feel free to add me. Need to stay motivated. Good luck xx
  • Hi, sorry to hear about your mum. Losing a parent is really hard. Hugs. Well done on your first weight loss, that's amazing. I understand how hard it is to lose weight. I know you've put some on and it's disappointing for you but you've taken a step in the right direction by getting back on here. This is my 3rd time on…
  • Mfp is really good, and easy to use. You can do it. Good luck x
  • it is. my friend showed how she makes it but she uses way too much oil for me so we adjusted the recipe, and this is it.
  • let us know if you come up with anything
  • Oops it should say 1 tablespoon of coriander, but just add what you want for taste. They were spicy too, because of the chilli. It was a recipe from a friend, an Indian lady. I've made no changes to her traditional recipe. They were yummy. All my family loved them and have had the recipe from me. I didn't use oil though…
  • This was how I was shown to do them. It was very easy to use coriander. Made them taste nice. But like any recipe we sometimes change them around. Make it what you want, enjoy
  • I just heard about this and wanted to pass it on. On a search it says it can be used for acne scarring too. Amazing treatment. The pics of the boy on the link are amazing :)
  • Yes it's really interesting. Can't believe the pictures of him on the link. It's almost impossible. I've only just heard about it, and read the article. Try Google it for more info :)
  • I agree. Only problem is that you don't know till you start reading it. And sometimes other people's reviews don't help. I downloaded a book on my kindle that had great reviews. Was really looking forward to it. Turned out to be crap. Oh well, at least I enjoy most books
  • Same. I like to give books a chance.
  • Hi Katie, congratulations on your weight loss so far. That's awesome. Your doing something right. I have been trying to loose weight for years, and have tried lots of different diets. But when on a diet I don't feel 'normal'. So April 2012 I decided to stop dieting and try to eat like my 'normal' friends, but within…
  • Lol  when I say I've been reading since I was 14, I mean that's the age I got into reading. I learned to read at a young age
  • True true. I read alot, and for the most I enjoy the read and have no problem finishing the book. I've been reading since I was 14, and in that time I think there has been about 5 books that I struggled to finish. It is these books that I struggled to finish. There was two that I never finished because they were to…
  • Interesting that you link it to food. I suppose growing up it is kinda drummed into you that you are supposed to finish a meal, so we did. But with books/films I just want to see the ending. I think it's a closure thing. Plus I appreciate the hard work put into them. I always think that something good is going to happen.…
  • Thanks for posting this, it's very interesting to find out about celebrities who have it too.
  • Hi, you can add me. I joined in April 2013. I'm on most days, and log everyday. Loving it so far. And I'm in it for the long haul. Becks
  • It is hard on weekends, but I've decided to log no matter what. Even if i'm over i'm going to log it. That way there is no secrets or pretending.
  • Well done on loosing 2 stone. That's amazing. I haven't been using mfp for long, but have been trying to loose weight for just over a year. I think carrying less weight helps you feel better and more capable of doing things. Generally I could do more. The more exercise you do the more your body gets used to it and you are…
  • Thinking about it there is one book that I couldn't finish, it was sociology boring I couldn't take anymore. And there was another book that had really horrible content so didn't finish it. So that's two books I didn't finish. I actually threw out the horrible book so no one else could read it.
  • Glad I'm not on my own
  • Lol,must just be me. For some reason I need to see what the ending is  thinking about it, I'm probably like this with most things, got to finish things. Well at least I enjoy most books. And now I have a kindle I've gone worse.
  • I like them with spring onions, red peppers, small amount of cheese. And curry powder. And some type of meat, small amount though :)
  • Request sent
  • Hi, pcos definitely sucks. It's such a pain, causes lots of probs. But got to keep at it, not let it take over your life. Becks
  • Thank you all for the loving comments
  • Hi, welcome to mfp and this group. Living with pcos and trying to loose weight is an awful mix. It's so hard to get healthy sometimes. Regarding metformin it is a long germ drug so it can take a while for you to start seeing a difference. I've been on it about 5 years and I can't believe the difference in me. Not much…

  • Hi, added you
  • You are lucky if your cravings only lasted a month. Mine lasted the whole time I was on it. It was he'll. that's no way to live. Again everyone is different, so it's not just about puberty, but that is a factor. I have a lifelong medical prob with my hormones, and I'm difinetly past puberty. So basically it can affect…
  • Thanks so much for quoting evidence. Yes I agree it increases appetite which results can result in weight gain. Again everyone is different and ALL drugs can affect people differently. FACT. Just look at the side effects listed on a drug and you'd be amazed. In my experience I DID gain weight, and it wasn't due to…
