  • We made the Biggest Loser Broccoli Salad last weekend for our barbecue and it was EXCELLENT! I have also made a delicious pasta salad that used greek yogurt, lemon juice and only a tiny bit of mayo. It was great too. I'm not sure of the recipe specifics, but I'm sure you can google it. Have fun!!
  • Congratulations on the weight loss!! I have heard really good things from people who follow the flat belly diet. Even if you don't follow the calories exactly, they stress the importance of eating MUFA's (healthy fats) such as avocados, olive oil and nuts and claim that it helps to reduce belly fat. Good luck!
  • It takes a lot of courage to admit what you wrote, and just saying it out loud can help you change your eating habits. I love MFP because it lets you see what you eat in black & white so you can be accountable. Can I make a few suggestions based on your food diary? You are eating a lot of carbs, which isn't necessarily a…
  • I've found healthy substitutes for a lot of different baked goods. I have a healthy version of a chocolate chip muffin, chocolate cake and brownies. Although I don't bake very often, it's nice to know that I can make some of these things and not feel guilty abut it later. I allow myself dessert every night. I have a sweet…
  • I only weigh in once a week because that up and down drives me crazy! I do know that I personally have to watch my sodium intake, because I tend to hold onto water weight if it's too high. Don't get discouraged....you're doing great!! :)
  • Try to pick the healthier option and watch your portion size. Drink lots of water to keep from eating too much and ENJOY your vacation!! I'm not sure where you're going, but maybe you can find some fun physical things to do while you're there (hiking, swimming or a bike ride). Have a great time!!
  • Thank you for fixing my pictures!!

  • Greek yogurt, raw vegetables & hummus, almonds, hard-boiled eggs (minus the yolk, filled with hummus....tastes like a deviled egg), string cheese

  • Are you eating your exercise calories? If you're not, try eating most of them. MFP already creates a deficit for you, so you can eat the exercise calories.
  • It will cause you to hold on to water weight. Additionally, too much sodium is bad for your heart & blood pressure. Switch to low sodium if you can. What do you use it for? As a marinade? If that's the case, one of my favorite marinades is olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chopped garlic, oregano, pepper and a dash of salt.…
  • Are you planning on cooking at home or are you looking for a take-out idea in that calorie range?
  • Jambalaya!! Brown rice, diced tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic and the sausage with some hot sauce. Delicious!!!
  • I like green tea, flavored with a little bit of sugar or honey. It boosts your metabolism and it curbs my hunger.
  • What has helped me is not thinking of this as a "diet", but as a lifestyle change. I don't deprive myself of anything, so I don't feel the need to "cheat". I didn't gain this weight overnight and it won't all be lost overnight, but I concentrate on how far I've come and how much healthier I feel. You can do it!! Take it…
  • I know a few people who have gone on this diet and lost the weight. I agree that you do drop pounds fast, but you are bound to gain it back. It just does not seem healthy. :(
  • I've lost 23 lbs since the beginning of January and I can see it now. I still have a long way to go, but I see the difference, especially from the side. I also took measurements in the beginning and have lost inches. My clothes are loose-fitting now. Congratulations on your weight loss!!
