What workouts do you enjoy? Which are more for beginners etc?

Thanks for the posting. I have slacked off a lot lately and this, among some other things, have inspired me to refocus.

Cheese, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, nuts, sugar free jello cups, cheese and deli meat roll-ups, dill pickles, slim jims, etc.
-
Good idea. You can even sprinkle a few graham cracker crumbs on top.
-
Have you tried other basic stuff like yogurt, fruit, bagel thins and fat free cream cheese, granola bars etc?

There is a group - Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. It is open to anyone who is interested. The members post very good information and share their results, tips, general information etc.

That is SO true!

Hello. I am thinking about starting the Body Revolution. I have lost 75 pounds and have about 40 more to lose. What can you tell me about the workouts? What do you enjoy and what do you not enjoy about them? I am not sure if I will completely follow the diet since I have a family but we are healthy eaters at this point.…

I like this - "...show up every day to fight the battle. You may not win the fight every day, but if you keep coming back to try, it will happen." Great job and I am glad you had such an amazing support system.

I started a little over a year ago at 243. I am currently 170.8. Goal weight is 135ish. Next weight goal is 165 by March 19. Not sure if I will make it. It is a bit harder to lose now vs a heavier weight.

I just realized the 5 day walk plan is new and won't be released until March...bummer!

I love her DVDs! I think I will order the Ultimate 5 day walk plan. Sounds like a perfect workout plan for the month of February. What are some more Leslie favorites?

No gym for me. I usually workout over the lunch hour. If it is warm - I walk outside for about 40 minutes. If it is bad weather - I do the stairs, walk inside one of the larger buildings on campus or do a exercise DVD in my office. If I workout at home - I use a DVD (Taebo, Walking Away the Pounds, etc) or a workout on Fit…

SHUT UP! It wouldn't be good!

My favorite is the salisbury steak with onions and macaroni and cheese. YUM!

My goal for December is to work out as much as possible daily. I am 3 pounds away from my December 31 goal so I need to make sure I achieve it...surpass it. December is really tricky because we have a party to attend every single weekend but I have started pre-planning so I think I will be fine. And, not to over do it on…

I log her DVDs as general aerobics for the specified time. general aerobics, 30 minutes etc.
-
Yes! I like all her dvds.
-
Today (11-16-11) I did Walk Away the Pounds The 30 Minute Walk (2 miles). I like this particular one because there are lot of arm and thigh exercises.
-
Today (11-15-11) - Walk Away the Pounds Walk and Kick Power Series. 30 minutes. I logged it as general aerobics since it doesn't list the mileage like her other DVDs.
-
Sounds good to me. Excited!

Count me in! What is the plan?

I would encourage you to only have positive friends that will support you and offer positive suggestions/comments/feedback, set some short term goals, and get into a winter routine that will help you stay on track. Please don't let anyone alter you attitude, motivation, routine etc. because at the end of the day this is…

I have a kindle and love it. The kindle fire is coming out soon and I will upgrade...it is in color and will have interent capabilities to do things like MFP, facebook etc.

Try the Mission Carb Balance Tortillas. They have different sizes and white vs. wheat. I buy the small/fajita sized wheat ones - 80 calories, 13g carbs - 10g fiber = 3 net carbs. My husband likes the bigger ones, medium/soft taco flour - 120 calories, 19g carbs - 13g fiber = 6 net carbs. Very good (they don't taste like…

I would like to join.

You can be carb sensitive which means not eating a bunch of the bad stuff and watching your serving size on carbs that you would like to keep in your diet - potatoes, rice, pasta etc. There is nothing wrong with having the turkey sandwich for lunch. I would set a maximum daily carb intake amount and just stay under...like…

Sounds like a good plan!

My primary November goal is to recommit and get serious about exercising. I love to exercise outside so with winter coming I need to get on track and be serious. Other goals are to watch the sodium a bit closer and increase my water intake. Exercise is the biggie for me.

Don't give up. You are doing such a great job. Try old navy...and if you don't have any success....keep on tryin g until you find something you are happy with. You have come too far to give up and after all the obstacles you have overcome during this journey! You will be fine.
