Hey I'm about 5'3 and my goal weight is about 64kg (about 141 lb). Though with a bit of exercise I can afford to hover a bit higher (possibly around 66kg 145.5 lb) due to muscles taking up less room even though they are heavier. I don't tend to got that hard out with exercise, so it doesn't allow me too much leeway. It…

Cool thanks. Pescetarian is just seafood + vegetarian. So no other meat. I don't usually have much dairy, but I'm not restricting it. I have made more use of eggs, and I'm making an effort to eat fish more often. Yum sweet potato, I forgot about that. And I've been meaning to making something with pumpkin. I've certainly…

5'3 HW-163 CW-150 GW-134 People tend to think I'm lighter then I am, even those that are about my height and more muscly, I don't get that. I reckon I couldn't pull off anything lower than 121 without looking ill.

I'd suggest cooking things in coconut oil rather than olive oil, as it has a much higher smoking point. Olive oil is great for home made dressings though. I've just started a no bread diet, I've been a pescitarian (vegetarian + fish) for quite some time, but have been rather lazy and relied much on sandwiches and toast.…

To be honest I actually looked up the date on wiki a couple of years ago to see if anything interesting had happened on my birthday. That has turned out to be the most memorable cause i noticed it happened the very day i was born.

Lol soon I will be allowed to submit my divorce papers too (there is a two year wait here). I am also 26 and started dating my ex when i was 16. We have no kids (luckily) and I haven't been a student for a while. Don't worry too much about meeting someone else straight away. Just enjoy being single while you have the…

I'm 5'4 looking to lose about 10 pounds I guess. I'm currently about 67kg (147 pounds) but get surprised looks when I tell people that, maybe I have a bit of muscle? I gained a bit of weight after I finished training for my half marathon. Got up to 73kg, which would be my heaviest ever! I'm currently aiming for 1200cal,…

YOUR SCORE: 11 NOT ADDICTED. Based on your answers, you do not meet the criteria for food addiction as defined by the Yale Food Addiction Scale. But I guessed I wouldn't be. I'm only here cause I like to eat lots of unhealthy food like deep fried fish n chips and chocolate. Yes you can get deep fried chocolate bars, yum :p…

Younger. I'm 26 but still have to keep my ID on me. Though when I'm out with mum if she's dyed her hair recently people ask if we are sisters, but then she's only about 17 years older.

I'm a pescetarian 'junk' food eater as well. I eat a lot of bread, fish, rice, curries, and pasta. So yeah you're not alone. Am looking out for advice too. I'm looking into incorporating the odd vege/fruit smoothie to help make up for it. You can pack a lot of goodness in one smoothie, and can double as a light meal.

Make sure you have your technique right. I thought I couldn't do pushups either but it turns out my hands were just too close together. Make sure your hands are directly under your shoulders. There's no problem with using your knees.

Running and cycling uses different muscles. I trained for a half marathon, finished it without walking, but then i jump on a bike a week or so later and still find cycling 3 km at a decent speed a challenge. While cross training is great, it would be best to spend most your training running. It's likely you are trying to…

I think it's a great idea personally, and its far healthier than most people eat when they are not dieting, so i don't understand why all the criticisim. Cause this diet is such a big change, I would personally recommend leading up to the end of the 30-60 days that you switch out one meal for what you plan to continue…

Sweet count me in :)

Pescetarian here. Only just started eating fish. My food diary is a bit bland though, I'm not that motivated to cook for myself.

This is a weight loss simulator I came across the other day. It seems to have the same problem as bmi as it doesn't take into account how much muscle you have, but its a good start. http://api.modelmydiet.com/eywomen

Yup. I know this from experience. I used to eat chocolate (large 250g blocks) every few days as a meal and a half. You need to have mega will power, or just be so lazy you can't be bothered making dinner. Of which I am the later. I'm getting better though, being a pescatarian (normal vegetarian + fish) I guess I better…

Gaining muscle isn't always about gaining inches. While muscle is heavier than fat, as long as you look leaner, and can fit into your clothes better, who cares. Keep an eye on your measurements to track your progress. The added benefit of a higher muscle mass is that it promotes a higher metabolism. As long as you are…
