Add cocoa powder to oatmeal. The good old fashioned kind, not quick cooking. Make it with some lowfat milk(or full fat grass fed organic milk) and sweeten with a bit of raw honey or a ripe banana. It's soo yummy, and pretty healthy. Plus you're eating chocolate for breakfast.

Great Idea! At least I'll be able to estimate later.

I try to work out in the mornings before work. Even if this means leaving when my son is awake. We never play in the am(we're both too sleepy) so we aren't missing playtime. Twice a week I take classes and I DO get home later. At first I felt guilty but it is very important to sometimes do what makes you feel best. I am…

Watermelon! Two cups of watermelon is 90 calories and will make you feel like you've eaten a gigantic dinner. My husband and I always snack on it when we watch tv at night instead of chips or ice cream.

Why i find it weird is that it's not immediately after working out but more like an hour or 2 later.

I eat plenty of carbs. Lots of fruit. I'm a bit low on protein. I try to add as much as I can but usually come out under suggested.

I love nike workout gear. I know it's not cheap BUT i buy them at an outlet during a sale. It's totally worth it. I have nike gear that I purchased over 10 years ago that has be washed in hot and dryed in a dryer and it still looks fine. I swear my workout pants will last longer than me. Recently I purchased some danskin…

About 5 days of scheduled exercise. I ride a bike 16 miles to and from work 4 days a week. I try to fit in strength training 2 or 3 x a week in addition to that. I take Pilates once a week and try to squeeze in a yoga class as well(but only make it there sometimes). The other 2 days I go for long walks or make sure to…

No real pressing reason. It's just that I try not to eat sugar and "junk food" out of principle. Really my goal is being in the best health possible not losing weight. Ice cream is my weakness. I think I could eat a gallon in one sitting. Maybe I could buy some organic "healthy" honey sweetened version.

Hmmm I didn't think of that. I don't have a heart rate monitor. I usually go with perceived exertion. Maybe I should check out some other online calorie calculators?

I always thought I had huge(muscular) calves!! Guess they're not so big after all. :) I wonder why boots are always so tight... 5' 3" 128lbs Thighs: 21 1/2" Calf: 14 1/4" It's really interesting to see everyone's measurements along with their weight and photos. It really shows how little lbs matter.

I'm getting the suggested calories from my net calories. So I start out with 1,400 or so for the day and earn 250 with each ride to and from work. Then if I go to the gym I can earn any where from 200- 400 more. I guess I'll just stay under on those days since it's only 1 or 2 per week. I don't feel weak since I still am…

I was just about to ask the same thing. Every day I'm over on my sugar and it drives me crazy. I don't even like sweet things! I wish I could just hide the column.
