I think she meant 0.2lbs

I haven't seen the Mint Fibre One bars yet. Where do you get them? Have you tried the Fibre One Cake bars yet? I think they're nicer than the brownies. Also, if you heat the Fibre One chocolate brownie for a few seconds and have it with the Halo sea salt caramel ice cream, it's a yummy (not too naughty) dessert. My new…

I have been trying to lose weight for a few years now and always seem to end up right back where I started. This year I have started a competition with a friend to see who can lose the most weight (sensibly) before Dec. So far it seems to be helping. I am also trying to get 100% activity every day on my smart watch. Start…

I have a polar fitness watch. I have never been that active and used to tell myself that I had to do half an hour's jogging every day but I could never get into a pattern where I could sustain it. This year I have started just trying to get to 100% of my activity every day. And it seems to be working for me. I started 2nd…

I tend to find that it takes a couple of days for the weight to show up if I have a binge.

New nail polish. Or a new charm for a bracelet for every stone you lose

I have a Polar watch. Bought off eBay for £25. It doesn't have the option for fitness gaming but I sent in a support ticket so hopefully that will change. Or maybe you could find another watch that will allow it.

I weigh myself every day at 9am if I am not at work. I find that if I don't I can start getting a little lazier. I too, realise that my weight fluctuates throughout the week but I like having that check-in that shows me whether I'm kinda going in the direction or I should maybe work a little harder. My mood does not hang…

I tend to find that if I go walking that I can lose weight even if I go a bit over my calorie goal. I have the runtastic pedometer on my phone and I stick Harry Potter on my ipod and walk - it doesn't even feel like exercise that way. Depending on how fit you are, build up the walking slowly. At first would walk for ten…

I am 4'10". SW: 180 CW: 160 GW: 150 at the moment... Ultimate GW: 126 I try to do exercise when I can but I have to work it around shifts. I like to walk and tend to go for long walks in the summer. I find that it helps me to have smaller goals that I want to get to then I will set myself a new goal when I reach it.

No.

I use runtastic on my phone. It calculates my steps, my speed and gives me a rough idea of the amount of calories I've burned. I like it.

I disagree about discarding the veggies... you don't need to do that. We just boil the chicken and add the veg to it later (just boiled till cooked)... The chicken stock is tasty on its own. This is also great for turkey... I don't like turkey except for the turkey soup on boxing day. Add loads of barley, celery, carrots,…

Chip shop batter?

I agree with jemhh. As long as you don't do it on too regular basis then why not treat yourself for once. Just go for what you want within reason.

I don't count on Christmas and birthdays.

I like regular chocolate. I will buy the Cadbury 120g bars. I limit my self to 3 squares (or 6 if I'm feeling really naughty) at the most (around 85 calories per 3 squares) but only if it's within my goal. Otherwise I take Kellogs chocolatey rice crispy bars at about 150cals to work. I occasionally have a snickers (when I…

I eat pretty much what I want within reason for most of the week. MFP has me on 1200 calories per day - I am under 4,10". I exercise pretty much six times per week (and I then proceed to eat most of those calories too - but not all of them) I tend to find that if I am good for most of the week and then don't do any…

When I need to get up for work at 4.30 in the morning I set the alarm on my phone and then I place that far enough from my bed that I have to get out of it. Good luck!

Apparently I have a TDEE of 1870 and I'm eating around about 1400 calories a day. Hmmm... does this mean I should be losing weight already without exercise? *confused*
-
Thank you. Will try that. Now, what is a TDEE?
-
Guess what... I am a particularly short female! ;) So does that mean I can eat to 1200 and then exercise and then not eat the rest of the calories? Unless I want to? As long as I am getting all of my nutrients?
