i am lucky, my husband also wants to lose a bit of weight, so as he normally eats the same as me, he will ask, " how many calories have i got left" ha,ha, and at the end of the day, we want to feel better & look better,so if calorie counting is the way to do it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. & i am also happy…

HI JeweisHiker, Yes i need to lose some weight up to April,as we have a daughter getting married in May 2015.I also since my illness have lost & gained again.so fingers crossed i can lose about a stone by then,:-)

yes i love Lemon Drizzle Cup Cakes, and i treat myself to one every week. i think if you count these treats in your calorie count occasionally it is ok. you cannot deprive yourself of the food you love it will only make you unhappy. all things in moderation.:bigsmile:

yes, i count all fruit and veg, it all adds up to calories, :laugh:

i try not to have a cup of tea after 4pm, and never drink water after eight,. but even then certain foods contain water , so i still find sometimes i have to get up in the night, :yawn:

no i wish i did have a garden, we are working on moving house, so we are looking for one, as i love gardening. Chewing gum makes my Jaw ache, ha,ha :bigsmile:

i love weetabix with added chopped Banana, or Home made porridge oats. with a teaspoon of Honey on. :bigsmile:

yes, i mostly eat fruit at lunch time only, sometimes have a Banana at breakfast but never in the evenings, :bigsmile:

thank you for this advise, i will copy and paste to my P.C. i have just started eating Oat & Barley bread with spelt, so not sure if this may be a problem. :smile:

i eat 3 times a day, My breakfast being my mail meal, so i am generally not hungry until lunch , I have stopped eating between meals, and do not eat after 8pm, hopefully i will get somewhere with losing weight. .:bigsmile:

i just use normal dressing, but only a bit, your daily calories can be worked to include it, enjoy the real stuff, don't spoil your salad, :smile:
