Awesome! Thank you, I'll be trying that!!!

I have netflix...What did you type in on your search?
-
No, but I think I'll try it!!

Probably just little sips. And working out on an empty stomach, then drinking water, that would definitely make me feel yucky.
-
Sounds like you're in for a good day!

Fire Burning on the Dancefloor by Sean Kingston is my power favorite!! And I enjoy working out to Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz
-
Thank you!!!

My favorite chocolate treat is Fiber one chocolate & oat bars. Maybe a hot chocolate?

Count me in..This will hopefully make me accountable for what I eat, if I exercise, etc. Now the MFP world knows..LOL

Walking is AWESOME!!! It puts you in an awesome state of mind (great stress reliever) and you will see/feel results. I heart walking. Its my absolute favorite!

I am so there with you..I would have my alarm on very early, and shut it off to go back to sleep. Every day saying "tomorrow I'll get up" Then someone I work with said "Do it at night!" So...When I get home from work I take care of the kids, eat dinner, baths, then the kids watch TV in their PJs or whatnot, and I hop on…

Thank you, I needed to hear that!!

I'm a Mainer!!!!!:drinker:

I am a mom of two...11 and 5. A loving supporting wife of a police officer, and a teacher of 10 years!
-
That's incredible! A true motivation!! Yay to YOU!!!
-
Good luck! You can do it!

You are SO right. I think we set unrealistic goals. Lose this drastic amt of weight in so little time. Not permanent, that's for sure..OR healthy. so I'm with you now. Eat less move more, slow and steady, but the weightloss will be permanent, and I will have made a life change instead of a temporary diet. Yay for us...LOL
-
That's awesome!!! Great motivation for me, my goal is the same as yours:smile:

I find if I'm bored between supper and bedtime I'm hungry..If I'm busy time goes by and I don't even realize it...And make sure you are eating all of your calories, stocking up on fiber and whole grains to make you feel fuller. And I think it's awesome that you bike that distance 2-3 times a week...Good for you!!! And…

I've been back and forth, too...Fit before babies, and now wanting, NEEDING to make a change. My cure for sweets is Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt. The vanilla tastes to me like white cake. Its fat free and 80 calories. And they have lots of other flavors, too!! I also eat Fiber One Chocolate & Oat bars for my chocolate…

Along with Salsa (which is fat free), if you're wanting to do a sweet thing you can bake brownies with applesauce instead of oil, and egg whites instead of eggs, which gives it a more cake-like texture...Low in calories and fat. Reduced fat crackers work well, too, for munchies. Good luck!!

I know what you mean...Its like "isn't that a good thing??" There was a link on here earlier explaining how much your body needs for fuel to survive and whatnot before your metabolism slows...But I was thinking if you are working out and burning more, isn't your body going to take off some fat for moving more than you ate?
-
Also try Fiber One Chocolate and Oat Bars..VERY yummy and satisfying! Dannon Light N Fit Yogurts are good for the sweet tooth as well!
-
And remember..Every little thing you do burns calories. Errands after work, work itself, taking care of your family, laundry, dishes, etc. Its all moving and burning. You can do it!
