  • Day 2 of 30 day shred here! sooo sore but I kind of like this soreness - at least I know it's doing something! I tried 3DS once before with my boyfriend and we both gave up after a day as it was so intense. He's refusing to do it with me now lol but I'm so happy with myself just for getting past day 1 and I'm actually…
  • I've lost 7 pounds in a month and I'm over the moon! And i'm not a big girl so I'm happy I'm losing at a nice rate because it can be hard if you're not obese to lose that much weight. So just be happy and keep at it - In May you would have lost loads if you continue at this rate :)
  • I was kind of in the same situation as you and I know how you feel! The first week, I lost about 3 pounds. Then, the next week I put on nearly a pound. It really demotivated me, but I carried on coz I knew it was just fluctuations. I used this app in the summer and was losing weight really well on it, so I know it works…
  • It's probably water weight, you couldn't have physicaly put on weight if you have been eating within your goals. You could have eaten something with lots of sodium, or your muscles could be retaining water from exercise. Just keep drinking lots of water and it should go away! :)
  • I feel your pain - I am also a baker and know how hard it is. Most of it is portion control - I add recipes into MFP and see how many calories my cupcakes come to. I found out my oreo cupcakes (which I would have 2-3 a day previously) came to over 300 calories. So now I would half the mixture so the cupcakes are smaller,…
  • Oh god just have a slice of cake lol. Sorry I had to say that, a bit of sugar & fat isn't going to kill you. You'll go insane eating so little plus you are ruining your metabolism!
  • It really is great. Before I joined, i had no idea how many calories I was eating. It shocks you because you find out something you eat often is a lot of calories, and really makes you realise why you put on weight in the first place. I've been on here nearly a month and lost about 6 pounds - so its not fast weight loss…
  • This! There's no reason you can't have a snack if you've planned for it! I always save calories for a snack at night - although I'm not healthy I'll have chocolate or something I've baked. I've got into having ice lollies recently, great as they last a while, satisfy your snacking needs and most are very few calories…
  • I'm hopefully starting this tomorrow, looking forward to it and hoping to get some good results. I'm so lazy though - but hopefully I'll be able to bring myself to do it if its only 20 or so mins! How do you do it, 10 days on level 1, 10 days on level 2 and so on?
  • Don't agree with the exercise one - I'm losing weight fine without working out. I won't work out when I've lost weight so don't see why I should add something into my life that I won't be able to keep up with. I think keeping a healthier lifestyle and taking healthier choices by walking more or by taking the stairs instead…
  • Yeah sodium is known to make you retain water, just keep drinking lots of water and it should drop off in the next few days :) You couldn't have physically put on 3-4 pounds of fat that quickly :)
  • Good because I'm getting a KFC tonight :D
  • I had to slices of lemon drizzle cake - now I have to go and do a workout to burn the second off! Booo :( I couldn't resist though!
  • 20 yr old here: ) Feel free to add!
  • Hiya! Wow, you do great workouts, I'd never be able to burn that much. Well done! If MFP has given you 1340, you have to eat back all/most/at least half of your exercise calories as otherwise you'll only be netting at 340 calories a day which is incredibly low and is bad for you. You need energy to fuel your workouts, so…
  • Amazing ! You look like a different person. Crazy what weight loss does.
  • I hate it when people say this when I say I don't eat breakfast. I wasn't advising her not to have breakfast, I just don't have it. I wake up in the morning and I'm not hungry. Why should I eat if I'm not hungry? & if I force myself to eat in the morning, it creates havok with my digestive system all day and I end up…
  • You're exactly the same as me, and to be honest it must work for some of us. I've always had a small lunch (toast, cereal etc) and then a big dinner at night. It means if I go home for a weekend I don't have to say no to one of mums big family meals. And I always look forward to my big meal at the end of the night. I lose…
  • Hey!:) I manage it because I don't eat breakfast, & I just have a small lunch. I have porridge for lunch & big dinners that are 800+ calories. That alone plus my big cups of tea usually make up 1200 calories, so if I want a snack I have to earn more food by exercising. If you have healthier dinners than me you will more…
  • I'm looking forward to this! Feel free to add me anyone so we can motivate eachother, we CAN do this :D:D
  • I'm in! Let's do this guyss :D:D
  • We get two days of nice weather then we have to pay for it for having weeks of more rain, lol. This weather is depressing! As for the motivation, put the drinks you would have on your diary and see if the calories put you off!
  • I think you can transfer those calories to another day in the week. I've heard people on here saying they don't use their calories in the day, but instead add them up and at the end of the week they treat themselves with a pizza or something. Your body doesn't work in a 24 hr clock like MFP does. That's just what I've…
  • The date thing is so true - I always have to think for a minute when I see an american date - why is the month first? So confusing! And chips & gravy is where its at! :D ooh and custard creams are amazing too. mmm
  • Bump!! Baking is what made me fat to begin with. I've always loved baking, but the past year I've been doing it loads. There's just me & my boyfriend in my flat and I'd bake loads of things - oreo cupcakes, flapjack, biscuits, cakes, scones. We'd demolish the lot and then I'd make some more - a constant supply. I still…
  • 9.. so pretty and you look so cheerful! I love smiley people :D
  • This. It's not about cutting out everything you eat and just eating salads, although eating good food is good for your nutrition. You don't have to cut anything out, you just eat it in moderation. For example I found out one of my favourite meals was 1,100 calories and so I've halved the portion size I used to have.…
  • I know exactly what you mean! I've been on numerous diets before - probably when I didn't even need to. The last one I went on I weighed myself and I had put on 7 pounds - not too bad, not good either. I tried to get that off, but gave up and thought 'what the hell' and ate rubbish again. Now I'm 8 pounds heavier than I…
  • This dvd is amazing. I'v been logging it as 300 calories for 20 mins but it just seems so much. Hope I'm not ending up eating too many exercise calories back lol
