  • I'm starting the 30 Day tomorrow - my first time - and I'm very nervous and worried that I won't be able to do it, I'll be hungry all the time, I won't feel well... I'm glad to find this group on MFP. I'm hoping I can do this and do well!

  • Hi! I have found that you really need to make sure your doctor is monitoring your Synthroid levels. It took a good while for me to get on the right amount of medicine & it has had to be adjusted a few times over the years. Good luck!
  • Another 5'2" lady here wanting to lose 30-35 pounds. I've lost some, managed to keep 15 off completely, but keep gaining & losing the same 10 pounds the past 6 months. My body seems to not want to go below 170 for more than a few weeks. It makes me crazy. I'm up for any encouragement, ideas & support I can give or get!
  • I am in the same boat! I lost a good bit of weight a year and a half ago, and put it all back on. I have about 40 pounds to lose now, and I'm finding that I need motivation and support to keep going (so posting here and asking for support is a great step!). I have friends that I am in contact with every day who help me…
  • We all do it - don't beat yourself up about it. This is my 3rd or 4th time around with MFP, as I've fallen off the wagon more than once. It doesn't matter what day you start - be proud of yourself for starting!!!! Good luck, we can do this!
  • Add me as a friend and a "do-over" as well! I fell off the MFP wagon this year and need to get back on track! Start small and make little changes that you can turn into daily habits - it helped me before, I'm trying it again now! Good luck!
  • I just bought rice noodles for the first time. Thanks for the web sites.
  • I need to get going - had some health issues that needed checking by a doctor, but she says I'm okay and good to go. With all of the snow shoveling, my legs have gotten quiet a workout - so I want to roll that into starting running again!
  • I just cooked a pork shoulder in the crock pot today. I put a dry rub of spices on it, put it in the slow cooker with a cup of water and let it rip!! We shredded it up and used the broth created in the crock pot as a 'gravy'. I shredded the rest and put it in bags in the freezer. I'll use it later with some BBQ sauce for…
  • The Shamrock 5K in Baltimore is a great FIRST 5K, I did it as my first a few years back and it's nice and flat. Good luck!! I ran for a while, then had a herniated disc and had to have surgery. I've been trying to get back into it for a couple years now, but am having some of the same issues as the others on here. I start…
  • All of these sound really good!
  • I love easy recipes as well! Thanks for posting. From Skinny Mom's website, I did her freezer shredded chicken today. 3-4 chicken breasts Salt & pepper 1/4 tsp garlic flakes 1T onion flakes 4 cups of water, or enough to cover chicken by 1 inch Put all ingredients in crock pot & cook on Low for 6 hours. Shred the chicken &…
