You've done a great job quiting smoking, and maintaining your weight for a month! You've done those 2 hard things, I know you can do so much more!

I don't have 40lbs left to lose, but I'd live some new friends and mutual support! Add me if you want!

I like mine with a tomato balsamic salad, sometimes I add lettuce and/or avocado. I recently had it with a little rice, tons of wilted spinach, a little garlic and lemon juice. A hot meal instead of tuna salad is nice this time of year.

I can get 1.5oz clear liquor mini bottles at the store here for less than $2, around 100ish calories. Tons of choices, and pre-portioned. I can drink them straight, on ice, with a seltzer, diet coke, crystal light, all without adding any extra calories. The good news is, eating so much less means I don't need much alcohol…

Best advice on this whole site.

I was 165 for most of my adult life, and thought I looked GREAT. Then I found out that 160 is overweight for 5'7". My current goal is 150. I am able to maintain that easily.

We eat tons of french toast, boiled eggs (plain, on salads or sandwiches) deviled eggs, egg burritos. For the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 preteen) we eat a minimum of 5 dozen eggs a week.

I recently discovered that I was suffering from an electrolyte imbalance, and my symptoms are similar to yours. A little sea salt under my tongue, and a powerade every now and then helped a lot.

They don't taste good at all. I do like Yasso bars, they have lots of good flavors. But my favorite is the sugar free Kroger brand. It comes in a pint for $1 and is 400 cals for the whole pint.

Add me too. I'm back because lockdown snacks.

I can sympathize. I lost my job, and control of myself. It took me 6 months to start taking care of myself again. It's agood sign that you're here, and recognizing you want to change!

This. Because you'll be much happier if you lose 2lbs or so before Christmas, than you will if you lose nothing because its too difficult to stick with such a drastic cut for 3 weeks.

I bought an old set from a fire station on Craigslist. For $60 I got a bar, ez curl bar, 4 adjustable barbells, clips, and 120lbs of plates. I got my hubby to build me a squat rack out of 2X4's for a few bucks. And someone gifted me a bench, but that could be made easily also.

Drinking more water usually helps keep my scale weight down, flushing out salt and waste.

10/31 149.2 😁😁😁🎉 I truly did not think I would ever reach this weight. I've never been below 150 ever. I didn't even think I was going to reach 150 for this challenge! 2 weeks ago I was struggling, but doing my best to keep going, working out when I can, and starting each day new. And this is proof that when you stick with…

Honestly, that happens to me every month. Go right back to your normal routine. That's the only way, to move forward, and keep going. So I only lose weight 2 weeks out of the month, at least I'm not gaining fore those 2 weeks.

My boys and I thought it would be a fun Halloween activity to go for a walk in the "spooky woods". (Actually a nature trail behind the sports field) Turns out it's now our favorite thing to do, and wasn't spooky in the least!

I also love to do stir fry. I'll cook my protein and veggies (whatever is on sale) pork or chicken cut into bite size pieces. Then I'll add either chopped leftover veg or a bag of frozen. Add some soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and ginger (dried is fine). I'll serve the kids some rice with theirs. I don't like cauliflower,…

I like to make spaghetti for the kids, then mix my marinara with some cheap ground beef. I'll serve them pasta, and have mine with veggies. I like squash(cheap this time of year), zucchini (just sliced and steamed). But you could do any veggies you like.

You can enter "1" manually for the calorie amount when putting in your exercise. You can also make it 1,000,000 and eat anything you want.

I would suggest an instant pot. They make sizes from 3 quarts and up depending on your family size. I use mine for everything from boiled eggs, beans, chicken (whole or cut up) soups, stews, chili, veggies. My favorite part is the ease and speed. There is no watching or pots boiling over.

I had the same problem last month, so I'm thinking this is something to do with the second half…

Same.

I eat baby food, lol. For realz though, they have it blended so smooth and sweet tasting, and it comes in a pouch with a straw so it's a great snack four when I'm on the go. And there are endless combinations of different fruits and veggies.

Are you using a scale for this info? Fwiw, I'm 5'7" and 159lbs this morning, my scale says I'm 36% bf. LIES. It's only measuring water and guessing at the rest. I have a disproportionate amount of fat on my legs, but no where near 38%.
-
When I was fat I skipped bfast to "cut calories" and then I would stuff my face after dinner because I was famished. Eating fat in the morning, and a heavier bfast than dinner helps me stay in my calorie goal these days.

I went on a vaca with just the kids last year, and my OH decided that was a great time to gain since he didn't have to share his ice cream!!

I'm tired of being awake.
