I'm tired of it

We are all humans here. At least, most of us. We wake up and each of us, to varying degrees, try to live out our days, reach our goals, and make it to tomorrow. After years and years of living, sometimes our tolerance, our patience, and even our tempers can just....well....get tired. What have you become tired of, whether it be something in your personal life, work life, society, hollywood, fads, foods, etc?

For example...... I'm tired of all the movie remakes. Come out with a new story already!

Like a dandelion seed that journeys across the countryside with hijinks aplenty? (hijinx?, ugh.)

I'm tired of having to physically sit in an office the whole day just to get my full salary, when I can complete my work before lunch. It is the same amount of work either way, don't pay me less if I'm not physically here.

I'm tired of tires. I was promised flying cars.

I took a "desktop publishing" class in Jr high where in we learned all the wonders of this fancy thing called the desktop computer system. As part of that class we had this book where we had to 1) type the passages and 2) then make a presention based on the passages.

They promised me moving sidewalks, cities in the clouds, and flying cars by 2025

I'm a bit afraid we are going to miss that deadline.

In general, I'm tired of people not getting what they deserve.

The whole social media, esp. facebook and people bragging about their lives. I have unfollowed people that I am "friends" with because honestly there lives seem so much interesting than mine (lol).....pics of them here there and everywhere/posing with their many friends, etc. etc. It does kind of make you think holy smoke they are out there doing all these great things and I am working and just doing the everyday stuff that we do in life....my life is boring and mundane compared to theirs.

I also do not like it when people post these glam shots of themselves and wait for all the likes and the wow you look great...you have an image of them checking every couple of minutes hoping to see more likes and comments.
Social media is just a bunch of people showboating to make their lives look amazing. Idk how many times I see people posting happy photos with #blessed and then find out that they're really just miserable. Don't let what you see fool you into thinking your life is lacking.

Often times their make believe lives. That’s why they are so interesting sometimes.

Agreed. I have had the same feelings before until I realized people always posting that stuff are really trying to convince themselves how great and perfect their lives are more so than they are trying to convince us. Those posts and pictures are usually staged and give them about 30 seconds of happiness.

Of course I like to travel and I like nice things but I am perfectly content to come home to my middle class home that I own to my kids and my dog and not worry about how I'm going pay for that next to trip to Europe or my $800/mo car payment.

Works of fiction often are super inticing! Can't look away even when you wanna.
