Participated in the MS Bike Ride in May. 79 miles each day. 158 miles total. Boy was I tired on Sunday but it sure felt good. Correction, it felt AWESOME!! Got about 20 more pounds to lose before I start training (running) for my first Sprint Triathlon next spring.

The reviews I read about Polar said that it had to be sent it to get the batteries replaced, but that is good news that they can be replaced without sending it in.

I just got a Timex HRM a couple of months ago and it works great. I got model T5K217. Tracks calories burned plus saves the last 10 workouts. Easy step-up and programming. When I work out in the evening, I will eat a small dinner before and then a small snack after. Seems to work fine for me. Just be careful to not eat too much before the class, might upset your stomach with all moving around in Zumba. Have fun!!
