  • Update for today, added Mixed nuts to everything and I wasn't insanely hungry. I Even stayed under! Thanx guys!
  • I do drink a ton of water, I used to be heavy on Coke Zero but the caffeine started Taking a toll. I have a 32oz tumbler that I fill up at least 10 times at work, I'm always very cold but have always been that way, I'm a person that enjoys 110° weather. I drink a lot because I'm thirsty but also I eat a ton of fiber and…
  • My spell checker is not my friend today :/
  • I don't want to loose weight right now, but I delicately donwant to gain any. I just want to be the healthiest I can be, and somethings up if I'm always hungry. I just went grocery shopping and bought mainly unprocessed Foods that I can make myself, I'll try that for awhile and see if it helps. Can to much sodium hurt you…
  • Also, I take multi vitamins daily and drink about 4 gallons of water a day. (seriously) I'm like a never ending put when it comes to water.
  • Lol, no I'm not gaining weight. I've been maintaining for at least a few months which is what I want, I'm just worried about eating so much. Obviously my weight, measurements are the same but I'm a little worried about gaining again. If I'm doing something wrong, I was just trying to understand it. Puerile at work make…
  • I've noticed most days MFP says I need as much as 120 grams of protein a day, which seems like a lot to me. I eat lots of Greek yogurt and veggie burgers which are both high in protein. I don't seem to ever seem to meet that goal. I know when I run I need more protein but that seems like an unobtainable Goal. I guess I…
  • I like the idea of an Ab DVD also. Might be fun to try. I tried the stair climber to nowhere today to get motivated. It worked, it kicked my butt too!
  • Good suggestion! That's something hadn't thought about!
  • Well, I know I don't NEED to do them, but I've lost about 30 pounds and seem to enjoy leg lifts/machines and tolerate push ups but my tummy definitely needs some toning! When I look in the mirror I'm happy with what I'm seeing except I have no definition in my abs. I know that should be motivation enough (I was motivated…
  • Great job!! I remember getting in those runs that made me cry. Everything felt wonderful, the weather, the scenery, the run, knowing my body my legs could take me so far. Congratulations on this moment!! Running is an amazing activity!!
  • I'm 30 years old and mine is 58.
  • I definitely started eating healthier. It's so much easier to do when I actually can see everything I eat. It makes me want to eat better and not be embarrassed when other people see my poor food choices. I also started exercising. Before i would try to take a walk out something but now I'm actually going to the gym again…
  • Ive been using the elliptical machine. I love jogging but my knee doesn't appreciate it very much. It is hard to breath sometimes, well not exactly but it's hard to take deep breaths. I haven't tried to check my HR after I stop exercising (great idea!) however I do make sure to end my workouts with a 10 minute walk in the…
  • I'm 30 years old, 160 lbs. I just started exercising again a few weeks ago. I do feel like I exercise hard, if not give it my all, why do it all? I pour buckets of sweat and have to towel down everything when I'm done but I'm not dizzy or feeling sick. I couldn't carry on a conversation at all, maybe get a few words out,…
  • I started getting really bad headaches when I'm working out also. I get headaches regularly but when I workout I'll get a headache even if I've taken something earlier and they are terrible. I just kinda hold my head and force myself to keep going. Anyone else?
  • I would really like to target my abs, and legs. Now with that said how many different machines should I use? There's so many! Do I just choose a few? Or do all of them? I have so many questions, lol. I understand the max test, that makes a lot of sense actually.should I be able to all the machines at that level? It seems…
  • Thanx guys. I hadn't thought of looking into places like that. I looked up weight lifting on YouTube and got some crazy suggestions, lol. I'm definitely not doing any dead lifting just yet. I was trying to watch a few people of the weight machines today but then I thought they might think I was staring them down! Ive been…
  • This is a great idea. I want to join! 8/2 60 min 8/4 50 min 8/5 80 min 8/6 60 min
  • Is it a burning, itching feeling? If so that happened to me when I first started working out. It's how I knew I was working my muscles. It eventually fades and goes away completely but if you're worried about it or it's really painful I would talk to your doctor about it, just to be sure. Good luck!
  • I've been making my own veggie burgers. Try http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Homemade-Black-Bean-Veggie-Burgers/Detail.aspx?evt19=1 They taste better than morningstar, and I'm obsessed with Morningstar products! My 5 year old son even loves them and he doesn't like beans, peppers or onion so I was really surprised. Lentil soup…
  • Maybe it's just me, I'm far more critical of myself than others. I feel a little better when I see larger people rockin their bikinis. I feel comfortable in one now that I've lost a small amount of weight BUT this might sound weird, I feel like the smaller bikinis look better on me they actually show curve? I know that…
  • Thanx! I'll try that.
  • Add me! I'm a 30 year old mom with a 5 year old son. I'm trying to get in shape just so I have more energy to play and not be a couch potato. I need some encouraging myself and would really like to hear anothers Weight loss journey..
  • You can add me! I'm new on here as well and need some friends on here
  • I forgot to mention I broke my right kneecap 18 years ago. It healed completely and I really haven't had problems with it in a long time. I was an avid runner for almost 10 years after that. I'm just wondering if maybe exercising again has messed something up with it, as it is only my right knee now. I don't have insurance…
