  • Yes, it is all about you, and I'm glad you're getting back on track. I've been with MFP for about six weeks. With the tools they provide plus the support and encouragement from my friends, not to mention some great challenges, I'm certain I can reach my goal (about 95 pounds). Lets do it together. :)
  • Congratulations on your success! You look great. :)
  • Mile 150.7 Headed east. Ground dropping slowly. Quiet and peaceful.
  • Hey Hotdog, here is a link to a thread on workout music that might give you some ideas. I don't know 99% of them (too old and too out of touch, I guess). My list begins with Sweet Home Alabama. :). http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1086860-work-out-music
  • Smart food choices, portion control, and 8 cups of water a day. I don't plan to eat back exercise calories, but I'm glad they're there if I go over on calories. I'll continue riding my recumbent bike daily and continue increasing resistance. I'm currently at about 9.5 miles a day. Would love to work up to 15 miles by…
  • That's an amazing story and you look fabulous running. Congratulations on your success. :)
  • Hi everyone, I'm Linda. I started with MFP in mid July and have lost 13.5 pounds so far. If I can lose another 30 by Christmas, I'll be halfway to my ultimate goal of 95 pounds. Looking forward to interaction with the group. :)
  • You look the picture of health and happiness. Congratulations on your success! Thanks for this amazing post chock full of wisdom. :)

  • I caught a quick glimpse of her a while back but I'm not sure I can catch up. Fear not, Jaessa. She's getting so strong now that I'm sure she can fight off those wights if need be.
  • Mile 51.37 We've reached a belt of trees, mostly oaks with a few elms and ash. Drops of rain fall.

  • I joined MFP three weeks ago and just joined the group last night so I missed your challenge. The very first New Habit I set for myself was to avoid late-night snacking. I go to bed very, very late (that's going to be the next New Habit to work on) so cleaning out the fridge had become a nightly routine. It's been three…
  • Just did a little backtracking and saw that you gave some excellent advice to another member about being human and getting back on track. An hour of Zumba should have literally shaken off some of that guilt...LOL Now, take a deep breath, rejoice in your achievements, and carry on. :)
  • Hi. I'm Linda, 66 years old, 5"2", 219 pounds, and retired. Starting from a basically sedentary lifestyle, I'll definitely start on week 1. Pretty sure the jogging segments will be difficult for me since I feel my balance is all out of whack. But I'm going to give it a try. I like that the weekly progression is all laid…
