I'm still out here. Struggling a bit, letting stress and impatience get the best of me. I love this group. I think it is one of the reasons I keep coming back to MFP. I did a lot better when I posted a lot in this group. Everyone is so helpful and generours with sharing their strength and struggles.

Good Morning. I started with a trainer this week and she said the figure out what I should be eating take my weight and add a 0 and take a percentage off from there (she said 20%, I'm starting with 10% to get my grove through and will build up to 20%). So I weight 221. If I had the zerio (2210) and take 10% my targeted…

There is a book I recently bought called "Run Your Butt Off". It is geared towards newby runners. They build up slowly, where I think C25K is a little quicker in building up. The book starts with having you be able to walk 30 minutes at a time, and you stay there until you have mastered that part etc. Maybe starting slower…

Tilapia is an easy fish to make. you can put it on a pan w/some oil (I have a grill pan and I put it on with some oil and chilli pepper seasoning) as it is cooking and when it is all cooked I chop it up. I then make some fish tacos with it (I usually get some broccoli slaw and some ranch dressing) and it's delish. I've…

Mine actually started yesterday, but I logged my husband's food and exercise for him. He just started on MFP, and not used to the logging thing. He is a post man and walks about 6 hours a day. So after dinner, I had already logged my stuff, and he did his usual "I want to do it but maybe not today" So, as he was finishing…

Feel Better Soon! Know it takes more than 3 slices of pizza to gain a pound of fat. Agree w/the others. drink some water. if you're feeling better maybe do a slow walk just to get your mental focus back in the game. :drinker:
-
I could probably pitch in once in a while too.
-
If you do another group, I def want in. I maybe struggling but I'm hanging in there and I love this group. We're all AWESOME:drinker:

WELCOME BACK CC Glad you are back and sometimes life happens. But, most importantly, you logged in today and are ready to get back on the healthy track. We've missed you . . . :flowerforyou:

I've used them. A lot of instructors like to use them in classes at the gym to give your muscles a better work out. I usually feel it a lot the next day or two...
-
Maybe I'll try one day a week to get up early and work out. it's just .... so .... dark ... and cold ... and
-
LOL
-
Yum, is that better tasting than a reduced fat sour crea? I'll have to try it.
-
5am gym...I try but I can't ever ... I gotta opt for during lunch or after dinner :blushing:
-
Niiiiiiccccceeeee....it is so nice out enjoy your walk :)
-
So you have a traded this for that and a Non Scale Milestone because you're walking faster ... two for one!
-
Nice!!! I was contemplating not going to the gym during my lunch but my excuse (laziness) wasn't good enough
-
I love rice crackers and salsa...you get veggies in...so as good as fruit

I'm in the same boat as you and BTL. I have to revamp and tighten things up a bit. I noticed I got to used to my only half a pound a week calorie count and would just eat cuz I had the calories not because I was hungry or the food was nutritious. Between the HRM, doing a loss of 1 pound a week and revamping my exercise I…

Hmmmm good question...I'm not sure -- I haven't experienced a Fitbit yet...though I've seen a lot of MFP users using Fitbit. I'll try and get some info
