Americans are over weight because your portion sizes are insane! And your food very high in sugar compared to everywhere else in the world. This isn't about housework!
-
Why is your protein goal so high? You don't need anything like that much. 45g is plenty.
-
Develop a severe hops allergy. That puts you right off. I can't touch beer without throwing up and my face swelling.
-
When I started it was about 26, it's now 20.

I think when you start out once a week is good. I've been here 2 years now and haven't weighed myself in 4 months, but my clothes fit, so I know I am not gaining, so I don't care!

There are a lot of people from the UK here, we are just a bit less vocal.

halloumi light with a ton of salad and a teaspoon of olive oil.

I hate showers. We don't even have one. I have baths every day.
-
Any one who says things like that to you doesn't love you and doesn't deserve you. He's just a nasty little control freak.

Quorn do good vegetarian meat replacement sandwich fillings.

I am not into the same things as you but am a massive geek. I am currently doing a Masters degree in Latin, and have a place to do a PhD next year (and the 2 to 3 years after that) looking into abbots in Medieval England. I also run a lot.

"Women don't bulk up" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Of course we do. I have very muscular legs from running. I don't lift weights. It's all running.
-
It's going to have to be longer than that! I burn about 450 cals running 6 miles.
-
That's an amazing time! I started running just over 2 years ago, and my (off road) half marathon time is 2 hrs 10. And I thought I was fit!
-
I find running amazing for my legs. I have naturally good ones, but they don't have a mm of fat on them now. I certainly have no desire or use for leg weights.

I think replacing bread is going to cause the same issues as eating it in the first place. My issue with bread is it is easy and quick and available, and I put butter on it, meaning I can eat 300 calories without noticing. This happens whether it's wheat bread or gluten free, or whatever, it's the ease of eating that is…

I felt rough on 1200 cals a day.

I'm British, so am guessing my national dish is fish and chips? I have never cooked it as I am vegetarian and I don't eat chips.
-
B12 deficiency isn't an issue for vegetarians. Vegans can suffer from it if they don't eat yeast products, such as marmite, but it's very rare.

Hi, I am a vegetarian vegetarian! The kind that doesn't eat meat. Or eats chicken and fish and pretends they aren't meat. I do eat eggs, but only free range, and not often, and I have dairy, but am trying to cut right down (partly because it makes me sick). I don't eat gelatine, mono and diglycerides of fatty acids or…

I am not a fan of protein shakes in general, but will make up a drink with some added protein when I am training for long races to up my protein and calories as otherwise I can't get enough in on those days.

42 - 44 sitting. No idea about sleeping.
-
About 43 BMP sitting down. I haven't measured when asleep. I am a freak of medical science. My max heart rate is way higher than the calculators say it should be too.
-
I would say not. Everyone will have noticed but be being circumspect and most people will think the person bragging about 3 lbs is a moron.

IME men say they prefer the natural look, but only what they think of as natural, which is still preened to the nines. How many men really like hairy legs, caterpillar eyebrows, wrinkles and bad skin? Of course they prefer us looking glammed up, they just don't know how much effort it takes to look merely "normal" every…

The site has helped me in terms of the calorie counting, but I don't think the forums have much, beyond introducing me to some lovely people.
-
Neither. Just people being careless with their health.
-
If you love someone you'll love them a bit out of shape. Unless he's actually unhealthily so, I think it's not anyone else's place to judge. I certainly wouldn't expect someone who was working 6.30am - 7.30pm to hop down to the gym after work. I know I wouldn't.
