    Techie computer nerd here (more infrastructure stuff now - haven't done programming in years). Which I balance out with being bookworm (fiction and non fiction / escapism and learning) and aromatherapy junkie. Now I'm just trying to translate some of that passion into my weight loss efforts.

    How about a book nerd? Or just your garden variety dork? I'm a geek in training, my fiance is teaching me about things like Star Wars and stuff. (Although I mostly make him and his geeky friends just shake their heads in disbelief. I make a better nerd than a geek)

    I am not into the same things as you but am a massive geek. I am currently doing a Masters degree in Latin, and have a place to do a PhD next year (and the 2 to 3 years after that) looking into abbots in Medieval England.

    I also run a lot.

I spend my day working as a nerd(doing me some programming, woot!!) and then get home and fire up the...PC/360/PS3/Wii U/DS....NES..../SNES....I have a problem.
