I would try some of those healthy mutli-grain bars usually found in the cereal aisle. Those run about 180 calories and have good protein. Good Luck!

Ever hear the term "Fat is Beautiful", anyhow just ignore them and move on. Who cares - you do and you are doing the right thing on your walk. You've lost 40lbs and that's a fantastic feat in itself. Keep going girl.... You look great!

Just keep moving on and don't let one weekend of binge to get you down. We've all done this and the best is to just jump back on the band wagon and keep traveling down the road to good health. If you have truly plateau'd I would recommend eating different foods if you are always eating the same and to change your exercise…

I read your post and I feel deeply for you and would like to be your friend. We can all pool together to help each one of us along our road to health and happiness. We are all fighting our own beasts in a way and need the help of good friends from time to time.... Many of those to be found on MFP. Thank you, Cheryl

Take Tylenol or Motrin before you go to bed with at least 8 oz of water. If that doesn't work then hair of the dog... just kidding.

Last night I was again under my calories for the day and had a great day of walking for myself. I weighed myself this morning and I'm up almost 2lbs. Do I freak, nope this is just your body working normally. It's most likely water weight gain and most likely due to your menstrual cycle. I'm going through the big M and my…

My husband does the same thing to me as well. He's also overweight and has a heart condition and is rather sedentary. What I do is to just eat smaller portions, account for all the food that i eat on MFP so I know how good/bad I've been. I also drink a ton of water to help with any hunger pains (it really works). I…

Have you tried alternating your routine or the foods you normally eat. If on a diet for a long time sometimes your body will adjust and you hit a plateau. You need to change something to get off the plateau but it can be done. Try changing your exercise routine, drink lots of water, eat less and accurately log all foods…

What a cute dog! I bet he's still licking his lips....

Try doing something different like walking. You should probably try to push past the 15 minute mark and head into a phase where your muscles are warmed up and now ready to really go. This happens to me when I walk and my knees hurt and I push past that and it becomes more comfortable and I just move into a rhythm until…

Try the Outlander series by Diana Galbaldan. They will definitely keep you busy and very entertaining.

Keep doing what you are doing to keep your weight either where you are or want it to be. DON'T RELAPSE! My source of getting back into shape is daily walking for at least 45 minutes. I've been doing this for almost 2 years and it's really helped trim me up. Although, I've gained my weight back I'm back to losing it again.…

Hi, I too am back for round two again after losing 30lbs and gaining it all back due to going off my self imposed diet and a new medication I'm taking. It's crazy how fast the weight comes back along with all the issues it causes. I'm tired of my persistent back pain and my goal is to lose that 30lbs again and then more.…
