  • I wore my pre pregnancy jeans today and they fit perfectly. Also bought another pair of jeans in my pre pregnancy size
  • This sounds good. I try not to give in, but the temptation for food after dinner is there. I try and avoid snacking by brushing my teeth then I feel like I'm done for the day. I also try and drink a lot after dinner as I think thirst is a part of my snacking. Will update later in the week with how I'm doing.
  • I'm currently 146, 5'4 and 23 (24 on Sunday) I'm hoping to be down to 125 by August, aiming at about a pound a week.

  • I will link you to this, its a good read. thoughts-on-the-friendzone. As far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as the "friendzone". If there is a guy I have a lot in common with etc I'm either attracted to them or not. If I am, then I like them and would consider dating them. If I don't, then I like them as a…
  • Regarding the scale thing, my mum has some old scales at home and I bought myself some new ones last Christmas. I can weigh myself on both, and on my new ones I am consistently 7lb heavier, even if I literally step off one scale onto the other! Obviously the old scales are no longer accurate. (My new ones match the ones at…
  • Not necessarily, you could still go by your clothes if you prefer it. Just continue being careful with portion sizes and things, and if you notice your pants getting tighter cut back a bit. I prefer paying attention to my clothes than a number on the scale.
  • I find protein is what keeps me full. When I have meals that have more protein in I find I'm fuller for a lot longer and don't end up picking and snacking. Good luck with finding what works for you.
  • He also says "Determination and patience - realistically you won't be able to lose more than 10lbs a month, however most of people can do only 5lbs a month. It takes a lot of time to get the body you want, but it if you are consistent you shouldn't have any issues to reach your goal." This means maximum 60lb in 6 months,…
  • To lose weight, you need to eat less calories than you burn. That doesn't mean burn off everything you eat in the gym, it includes calories burnt in staying alive. I would recommend just putting MFP as lose 0.5-1lb per week (based on how much weight you have to lose), and just make sure you stay under the calories. No…
  • Is that all you are having? // You don't eat enough Don't deprive yourself, have a cookie Firstly, I do eat enough, I eat plenty, I just prefer to eat a lot more in the evening, hence why my lunch is fairly small. Secondly, refusing a second cookie when I have already had one and I'm not hungry is not depriving myself
  • OMG that was tougher than I expected!!!! Guess I'm more unfit than I thought!
  • So I'm starting a day late because I only saw the post very late last night. Starting Stats: Height - 5 foot 3.5 Weight - 123.75 Bust - 32 Waist - 24 Hips (bony bit) - 32 Bum - 36 Things - 21.5 Calves - 13 Upper arms - 9.5 Good luck everyone!!
  • Brilliant, thanks!!! :)
  • If you know you cant maintain when you don't log then you should log :) Do what works for you, not what works for everyone else. You need to fit it to your lifestyle. I would suggest continue logging for now, then if it gets tiresome stop but don't suddenly start eating very differently. And keep track of your weight, and…
  • I'm pretty sure that's impossible. 400kcal a day would make you lose a lot of weight, including muscle and deprive your body of all the nutrients it needs. There is no way your body could hold on to stored fat on such a drastic starvation diet.
  • I like fruity smells, but also classic ones I have a very subtle one I wear everyday, most people don't notice I'm wearing perfume but apparently I smell nice. Someone borrowed my scarf the other day and said "it smells like you" so I'm guessing it isn't an obvious "perfume" scent One of the guys I live with always wears…
  • I'm 5'3.5" Currently I weigh 122lb, I'm not really sure what my goal weight is, I don't really care about the number on the scale tbh. My bodyfat is around 25% which is what I want to change! I'm aiming for 20% at the moment, then will re-evaluate. I may stop beforehand if I am happy with my body, but at the moment…
  • Did you even read the post?
  • I would recommend putting moderate, purely because MFP usually overestimates calories burned. Going for the moderate one will counteract that a bit :)
  • My understanding is that cravings are usually due to deficiencies (please correct me if that's wrong!) So I would assume that you are hungry but your body isn't in need of anything specific?
  • If I were an enzyme I would be DNA helicase so I could unzip your genes
  • Find something you enjoy rather than something you feel you have to do. Maybe try a dance class or go swimming or something? Its much easier to find something you want to do than try and force yourself to do something you don't. ETA: Ignore the processed food / bread nonsense!! Nothing wrong with a good piece of bread :)
  • I was going to say great advice, I totally agree. Until I read the last line that is. So I would say ignore the comment about processed food and bread (and also the one about calories tbh, you can still eat too much even if its all "healthy"). The rest of it is good advice though. Good luck! :flowerforyou:
  • My diet is in no way perfect, I usually go over on carbs and under on protein (my protein goal on here is higher than it needs to be though, for my weight the recommended minimum of 0.8g/1lb lean mass equals 74g daily). But I do have my goal set at 1450 and am usually pretty close. My diary is open if you want a look.
  • Noooo, the forums are for nasty bullies to not believe impossible 'facts'
  • Weeks? You must be doing it wrong, you only need days
  • From Liverpool, England Single No pets Depends on how I feel, I aim for 5 As of now, 12.8 :) It used to say 16 but I got a new scale for Christmas and they don't quite match up. The new one puts me at roughly 4lb heavier than the old.
  • I'm not really a big drinker so it isn't an issue for me. I think the last time I drank was new years eve, but I don't really know. I prefer to eat my calories :) That doesn't mean no high calorie drinks, but if its a choice between hot chocolate and alcohol, I'm going for the hot chocolate every time!!
