Some days it just does not feel like it 😔 lol

I’ve had great success with IF. I’ve lost about 50 lbs in 5 months. I don’t count my calories, I do t log my food, my eating window is 11am-7pm. Don’t count macros any of that stuff. Make it simple.

Still wanna lose another 40-50 lbs. this is about 45 lbs difference

I was feeling like I’ve been in a slump this month only losing about 2 lbs so far (was losing 10-12 lbs past several months). Then I compared a side by side photo from when I first started (July 2018) til today and I really think I can finally start to see a difference to myself. Still have more to go, but feeling more…

I have lost 42 pounds since July (I wanna lose another 40+) but I have had comments on my weight loss probably from 15 different friends, family, customers, etc yet I barely notice myself the physical changes (even tho I feel better/more energy, clothes are looser) I just don’t see a physical drastic change! I hope it will…

I guess this would lean more towards a scale victory. But today weighed in at 249.5 lbs (started at 288.5) but for the first time in what seems like forever - I am closer to the 200 mark on the scale as opposed to the 300 mark!

This is prob 3 months difference. Although the pic on the left is like a year old- it’s the same size I was 3 months ago. I’ve prob lost about another 4-5 lbs from the pic in the right.

1) I’m the weight my drivers lisence says 2) went from xxl tee shirts to xl 3) compliments from friends, family, customers taking notice. 4) a jacket I have I can now close it and zip it up.

You can call it obsessive- I call it passion. I’m passionately obsessed with getting my health in check. Again yo each there own but this helps me tremendously and eliminates any discouragement which has set me back in the past

Down 31 lbs in about 2.5 months. Looking forward to the next -30 💪🏼
-
28 pounds down in about 2 months. Not a huge dent yet but making some progress.
-
Maybe for my weigh in progress pics I will dress in costume to whatever decade I’m in 😂
-
I used to but it’s tedious, I don’t own a food scale so I was never sure if my amounts were correct and I always ended up forgetting something or some ingredient. I now do IF and have lost about 25 lbs in the last 8 weeks or so. I use judgement now and it’s much easier by keeping it simple. Just use common sense when…

2 months in, lost 25lbs Working out and doing IF

To each their own but I weigh myself everyday and I log what time I weigh myself. If I see a gain I make notes in my note pad of why I gained (ie- had beers last night) it helps me understand weight fluctuations and weight loss patterns. It has been a great tool for me.
-
I do IF and I have black iced coffee every morning (no cream/no sugar). Coffee will curb your appetite as I do not in breakfast in the mornings and the coffee helps big time with not being hungry
-
I guess the old saying is true that we are our own harshest critics.
-
@mariluny I understand that weight it will naturally fluctuate plus or minus however if it fluctuates in the plus side I write down the reason why I have fluctuated (ie I had beers last night) as a reminder not to get discouraged and it’s natural, and hears my reason why.

Whoops quoted wrong person. Anyways I’m sure y’all figure out who I responded to
-
Not at all- I am very active but I believe you can lose weight at 35 (any age, really) just trying to rally up some success stories
-
I got the diet part down pretty good. I’ve been doing really good with my eating. In fact I’d say success lies in a good diet. Exercise helps minimally for weight loss, it’s all diet.

I don’t think recovery is an issue here. As mentioned it’s just cardio in the mornings. Mainly to wake up, get a good sweat in before I start my work day (work an active sales job) then afternoon I do same amount of cardio with some weights (not power lifting or anything). Mind you this is only for a week I plan to do this.

I went to urgent care where they did aN EKG and they suggested I see a cardiologist. I came in there freaking out and showed the cardiologist my report and he told me don't listen to urgent care and said the number looked pretty good in his opinion. I completed all tests today (currently wearing Holter monitor) but he said…

Today I did my ECG (echo) and treadmill stress test. They said the ECG looked fine and I did well on the stress test and although I completed the entire stress test, it took some time for my pulse to return to below 100 Bpm from the time I stepped off the treadmill He said this basically indicates I am out of shape and…
-
He said everything is fine and not to worry about the EKG report, told me take what urgent care says with a grain of salt. Said my numbers looked great, it's better to have a low Bpm anyways. He listened to my hear my said it sounded great. Last step is a treadmill test and echo on Wednesday but said I am more than likely…
-
Thanks. Info Wednesday for treadmill test and egg but nothing he said or thinks I should worry so I feel pretty good about it. Have minimal to slight anxiety but feeling much better from a few days ago!
-
The cardiologist said I'm fine! He said I actually had great numbers. Next week he is doing a treadmill test and check out my heart through a ECG. But he said based on my numbers and what he listen to on my heart it sounds perfectly healthy. Magically my anxiety is all washed away.
-
Hekla I am seeing the cardiologist this morning to discuss. Never been to one. I'm not an athlete but have always worked out regularly even thought I am overweight. I work out 3-5 days a week for years
-
I agree. I worry too much. Ruling out heart issues will be a huge weight off my shoulders now and I think I can really reduce stress. I have a lot of great things going for me, so I just want to get this all sorted out.
