I found them in my closet this morning, and tried them on - BAM! They fit me! 2 size 11's and one size 9 skinny jeans, from the Junior department. LOL ! I couldn't believe they fit me.
And, the other NSV is that I finally look thinner to myself. You guys know what I mean here. How there's a lag between losing, and finally seeing it for yourself.
I have lost 42 pounds since July (I wanna lose another 40+) but I have had comments on my weight loss probably from 15 different friends, family, customers, etc yet I barely notice myself the physical changes (even tho I feel better/more energy, clothes are looser) I just don’t see a physical drastic change! I hope it will become more noticeable to myself soon.

Congrats on the awesome weight loss ! BTW - I started 4 years ago - and only now - minus 95 pounds - does my brain acknowledge the loss. I hope it comes sooner for you.

Wow! Sorting wardrobe while packing for a short trip and found a skirt that I had forgotten about. Tried it on and while I could do the zip all the way up I was disappointed that it was a bit tight on the waist. When I took it off I checked the label - it was a UK 12!! I was a UK 22 at my biggest 🤤 OK, it may be a generous 12 but I'll take my kicks where I can. Everything else in my wardrobe is now comfortably loose. When that skirt is wearable for an outing I shall start maintenance!30

I started at size 22 as well. I went shopping recently because after getting rid of clothes that were too big I literally didn't have anything to wear. When I went shopping, size 14 was too big (as the shop assistants kept telling me)! Last time I went shopping I couldn't get into a large 20. I bought some size 14s anyway, which the shop assistants kind of rolled their eyes at but sold them to me, but regretted it when I got home. It was only when shopping with my sister that I finally worked up the courage to buy a 12. I'm still way over a healthy weight so I need to keep going but I definitely don't feel as fat walking round as I did. I'm in New Zealand so the sizes are the same as the UK.21 -

It’s hard to see the change yourself sometimes, since in your mind you often see what your mind has reinforced the last few years. If people are commenting, the change is happening. 42 is a great loss....1/2 way to your target. Bet your tightening up that belt a notch or two, fitting into clothes you had problems with before.
I’m in the same boat but can tell the plan is working (again for me) since I can button those shirts up a bit easier these days.
Keep it up your doing phenomenal !!8 -
Something magical happened this week..... exercise feels freaking amazing, not just good. Also breathing has become easier? I’m not sure why or how but it’s really nice 😊26

OMG you guys. I had a pair of jeans when I was a teenager that I loved. Lucky Jeans, size 4/27, "Maggie" Super low bootcut. I wore the crap out of those, had them hemmed custom and everything. I have never been able to fit back into them, not even in college.
Pulled them out of storage (almost gave them to my sister 6 months ago, FYI) and not only do they FIT, they are LOOSE.
Also got the skirt I wore on my first date with DH, it was a 6, very snug pencil skirt. It's loose and doesn't "look" right because it's made to be sexy and snug fitting.24 -
Realizing today and then validating that yes I am brisk walking. 2 miles outside in 32 minutes. When I started walking I was out of breath in about 500 ft. My goal is to keep increasing the distance to 5 miles. Now I want to see if I can get up to 4,-4.5mph as well.27

So, I’m in Kohl’s with a coupon and am looking for darker denim jeans. I have a pair of sz 4 Vera Wang ankle jeans that are lighter and distressed and I love them. I noticed the other day they were a bit looser but not in a “too big” kinda way. (I’m maintaining at the moment, but still seeing positive changes)
Anyway, today I found the same style/cut in a darker wash and not distressed but they only had a sz 2. I figured what the heck, tried them on and they actually fit!

Hey it’s me again. This week I bought new jeans, they are snug in the waist, but down a full size! The funny thing is, I was this weight a few years ago and two sizes higher. So even though the pounds are coming off slooowwwly, the rowing and strength training is paying off.26

With a friend, I took back all the size 14s and replaced them with 10/12s (mainly 12s). Now I have clothes I feel good in28 -
I did not completely overeat this weekend and I'm so happy about it! Usually I go way over my calories but this weekend was good, still ate a lot of things I wanted but with a bit more moderation. Baby steps!25

went out for a partying weekend and not only did I not overspend moneywise, but I used my banked calories judiciously and came out under goal for over the week! yay!
weekend involved driving to Sheffield, eating out for lunch Saturday. Buying drinks and going to club, out for breakfast Sunday then driving home.
Managed to stick on track last night too and prep for the week and eat what was in fridge rather than go to kfc on the way home
I am very very tired today but keep reminding myself that I have done good hehe

A sweater I bought a couple of months ago was really tight on my upper arms. Wearing it today I am comfortable in it and my arms aren't being squished like last time I wore it. I call that a win!19

Wore a pair of jeans yesterday that I haven't worn in about four years, since I got pregnant with my first child! When I was wearing them I sat down on the floor to help my son get dressed and as I was sitting I thought "oh please, don't let me rip these pants right now" haha. Luckily I sat down with no problem! It was nice to wear jeans that weren't falling down all day. Can't wait to shrink out of these ones!18

This weeks NSV is brought to you courtesy of our annual Halloween Fancy Dress Party, where I was told I looked like Helena Bonham-Carter
I'll take that.29 -

I recently had two new smaller holes punched into my leather belt, and cut off the excessively long tail which wrapped around to my back (belt was handmade by my MIL when I was at my biggest). Today the smallest hole is a bit too big; I will need to punch new ones.27

I did four sets of pull-ups today, two narrow grip and two wide grip sets of 8 pull ups each. Considering my weight gain in the last few months I am stoked about that. The pull ups not the weight gain.24

I didn't see this as a victory until now. But it just dawned on my that it was hugh for me. First day back from work today. 2nd break I got some news the stressed me out. My first reaction wanted to be I want to get an unhealthy snack. Was willing to but it. The were even giving out candy today because of Halloween coming up. But I asked myself why I wanted to eat. And I was honest with myself and I was able to go back to my desk and get back to work with giving in. Im not jumping up and down or anything, but I'm like huh I actually stopped myself. Just wanted to share.47

I have some thin, long sleeved shirts that I wore around the house because I looked like a stuffed sausage in them. I pulled one out today and it is loose around the tummy and arms. I will wear them out in public this winter 🙂39

After losing 20lbs recently my stretch marks on my stomach have turned from red to silver. They haven't been silver in 3+ years. (I am happier about the stretch marks than the weight loss #, so I absolutely consider this a NSV) I also see cheekbones again, the jawline is a work-in-progress though lol38
