  • That's the way to do it, a fine example of what effort and determination can do for us... keep the hard work up because the results are what it's all about... well done...
  • That's fantastic, I can relate to the Blood Pressure, I've not long been taken off the tablets, self healed the doctor said, so well done and good luck for the rest of your journey...
  • I just rest up for a week or so, and remember it's easy to get back into the MFP.. The most difficult part of it is not to make a rash choice about giving up totally, it may be best to ignore the impulse for a few weeks, we all come out of our lows at some point... just sit it out... good luck....
  • It's doable, and I agree that if you over do the eating on the other two days it may end up counter productive.. good luck...
  • Well done, the results for you are what it's all about.. You have proven that with effort and strengh people can achieve their goals... Well done again... Stay proud and pass the message on when there is an opportunity....
  • Lol I found it a strange exercise to read about, it's surprising to see how people come up with new methods to enhance looks and strengthen. I can't explain what I sound like when I take a breath afterwards lol, it doesn't sound pleasant haha (but I'm working on it) thanks all.
  • Thanks all for your input. It looks like it will be fun for my daughter and her friends. They have got to that age where they want to look good for the boys lol Thanks
  • FS1E or Suzuki AP50 to school at 16 - that's a blast from the past with those bikes.... My FS1E was mauve, I couldn't keep that thing running for longer than a week without stripping something down on it.... lol
  • An Amazing story, it goes to show what effort some people go to, and that it is possible to reach their goal... well done to you both....
  • When I get the cravings I've found that a good amount of carbs helps me a great deal, it certainly reduces the craving... If you can try some of the suggestions/replies most make sense and what works for you is whats important... Try not to get too stressed over it, other wise you'll grow to hate the situation, spend some…
  • I agree, not a very scientific study, but as they put it, it was what they experienced from it.....
  • I'm in Suffolk, and the clouds have just opened up, thunder by the bucket load... anyone feel free to add me to your friends list.. take care Paul

  • It depends on you really, I've mostly read that it may be advisable to eat back half, it still aids weight loss, but if you intend to maintain, then find a way to enjoy putting back in healthly..... You may find workingout/exercising will make you feel as if you have lost your appetite so be careful.... also be mindful of…
  • A Heart Rate device ( chest strap and watch) calculations are based on some personal data and your active heart rate throughout your activity, wear one of these throughout your workout and log the results... Your heart rate will increase while exerting effort, I personally wouldn't do without one...
  • Out of 365 days, to not log anything for 4 days is an absolute necessity to enjoy myself... MFP works for me and even eating the huge amount planned I know I'll be back at start pre Christmas weight in no time at all... Happy Christmas to all...
  • I'm going to try to avoid bread in my diet (probably at tall order lol) 5 days a week....
  • Support is about being there for an individual at times of need by them, ideally you should be non judgemental if possible, and welcome the fact that they have trust in you and will take on board what advise you offer, your a safety net at the best... You should feel comfortable with what you both have to share between…
  • Try the T20 ladder H.I.I.T workout... ( www.fitness Blender or youtube ) and//or Abs for beginners (youtube) - there are so many exercises available, and you could easily make your own routine up when you have used a few and learnt the moves over time...
  • I must say you must be in some real pain with your legs… and I guess you must be aware of what not to do… Have confidence in what you have achieved so far ( 40 lbs is a great achievement – be proud) Have you considered taking up swimming or cycling? Don’t be to eager to use exercise to lose the weight, it just adds to the…
  • What you are doing is not a binge eating disorder. It becomes a disorder when the bingeing occurs regularly, and the binger is shrouded in shame and secrecy. The binger is deeply embarrassed about overeating and vows never to do it again. However, the compulsion is so strong that subsequent urges to gorge themselves cannot…
  • Beautiful pic's..... well worth keeping...
  • Very passionately put and with a touch anger, and don’t get me wrong anger motivates people and if used correctly can be beneficial to others and yourself... Every one should consider the fact that “what works for one does not mean it works for others”, and every word of encouragement does go along way with people in…
  • You need sodium so don’t get too worried, not everyone gets high blood pressure from too much, those that are at risk are those who have additional health risks i.e. issues with kidneys, heart conditions etc ( from fluid build up). And this can be managed by a reduction in sodium intake through diet and/or medication.. You…
  • Every thing that I’ve seen and heard from MFP friends and others indicates that by going under your goal by 2 to 3 lbs gives you that buffer or safety net for fluctuation in weight… and then go to maintenance… I’m yet to get there and have no reason to think it’s not doable… I think you do need to look at yourself in the…
  • Have a look at this one, I dont regret purchasing this one... Easy to set up, does what it says on the package... Beurer PM 25 Heart Rate Monitor - (purchased from Amazon £26.00)
  • A really interesting read... thanks...
  • There were bits in this that I'll benefit from (thanks) but I would say regarding exercise for fat burning and that is to look into the "Insanity" workouts..... I've lost a lot due to this exercise routine.... Best of luck....
  • Quite right, if your water is a good colour then you have enough in you. There are some quotes on training days and in research that in the early days of "the need to drink water and the amount was a stab in the dark around the the amount as every one is different".
