  • @ Rose I had no idea before thyroid cancer of how important a thyroid is to the body. I live with this extreme fatigue all the time. But yes I need lots of patience thanks again :)
  • @David thanks I just saw this :) @ Rose, I don't have a thyroid because I had advanced thyroid cancer so they keep me hyper on purpose to keep the cancer from coming back. The doctor just recently let me raise the meds just a little because I was having severe heart palps because of the meds. I can breathe a little easier…
  • Please think about being in photos anyway, I really wish we had more of my mum. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/teresa-s-porter/so-youre-feeling-too-fat-to-be-photographed_b_4351360.html Thank you Angerelle this is just what I needed to read! Time goes by and we all are waiting for that " perfect" something or other and in…
  • I said NO to soda :) I only treat myself to it on the weekends. Hopefully one day I won't drink it at all but for me it's a comfort drink. I know I will get there one day.
  • 4 Years ago I had my thyroidectomy and my body is still not recovered. My TSH can change easily depending on what I eat and how often. I am very sensitive. I did go to my rheumatologist because everything hurts real bad again. I started to see progress in my pain when I joined my fitness pal and now the pain has slowly…

  • Ok I will let go and go back to real slow. Thanks for all the suggestions and I will talk to my rheumatologist about this at my next visit. :)
  • Sometimes I do hold onto the treadmill for balance. I really did not stretch before working out because for a while I was walking at slow speed (1.8-2). Now I am walking 2.3-2.4. Which is still slow. But I will start stretching and icing more to see if that helps. I wear new balance running sneakers this seem to be the…
  • I feel like the ache is in the front of the knees. I rested for a couple of days and today I did the same routine and now I have pain in them. I have fibromyalgia and I don't know if this is related to that issue or something else.
  • When I decreased sugars and went gluten free my inflammation markers went down and I had considerably less all over body pain.
  • Yes I was talking about deli meats. I was eating a antipasto salad at a restaurant so I counted the meats and added it individually. I could have underestimated the calories but I noticed weight gain on days I had cold cuts before joining my fitness pal. so I was curious to see what people thought. I think personally my…

  • I like tip of setting the timer and moving after 30 min because sometimes you get on the computer and can lose track of the time. All Great tips!
  • Congratulations and I think it is a wonderful idea to get the church and community involved in getting healthy GB!
  • I just bought one last week and I had trouble with it. I almost slid right off. My husband seeing this said nope your going to hurt yourself and immediately deflated it and went to bed. How he knows me so well because as soon as he went to bed I filled it up again and tried to do several exercises. I was not steady at all…
  • Thank you all again I will keep it up. All the advice is helpful and I am hopeful. :)
  • Thank you both very much. Sometimes you just need to hear you can do this. My anxiety also comes from medications that have my hormones all over the place. But I keep telling myself I will not let Cancer win! I am done with it and ready to let go of all of the pain and damage that it did to my body and my family. Nite :)
  • I have a fast heart rate because I am on medication that speeds my heart rate up fast. My heart rate today avg 150 Plus and I was walking slow because of this issue. Trust me it is hard for me to walk like this but I push myself to move. I will be seeing my doctor soon and I will tell her about my rapid heart concerns.
  • Thanks! I also think my heart rate monitor is a more accurate reading :)
  • Oh sorry new to this and did not realize I was posting in the wrong section. :/
  • Ok not diabetic but I don't have a thyroid due to thyroid cancer which seems to be the main culprit. I have been trying to lose weight before i started using this site and have only lost 9 pounds. The sugars I want to be ble to eat come from fruits not junk food but they add up quickly here. I will give it a couple of more…
