I've had them for a few months and love them. I haven't run more than 4 miles in them (I worked my way up - used them on the treadmill a few weeks then hiking a few times before jogging in them). They definitely work your muscles in a different way - my calves especially.

I had her pork pernil last night and am making her chicken and mushrooms is white wine and garlic sauce tomorrow night! Love that site.

Don't forget your library! I often borrow workouts to see if I like before buying.

If it's anything like the classic FIRM workouts, you need a rest day in between. The old ones do pretty serious strength training all over and you need to let you r muscles rest. I might have to look into the express ones - I love their body sculpting system series but each workout is like an hour long and hard to fit in…

Great post (and a good reminder to drink more water!) Keep up the great work.

I wear a heart rate monitor and log as cardio.

Lat rows or pulldowns - that works that area really well. Push ups with help tone too. If you can get your hands on an old FIRM workout, most of them do lat rows and specifically mention it's for toning the area along the bra line.

Great job!

I got the sugar free ones from Costco - I do drink quite a bit of milk and eat Chobani every day, but still turn to the chews for some extra.
-
I love the Trader Joe's low fat granola.

I tried it and only lasted a day and a half. I couldn't choke it down after the second day. I still drink it occasionally for meal replacement (share a shake with my husband b/c one serving is A LOT!!!). I tried a sample of the green kind (I bought the big bag of chocolate) and found I liked that one better.

To count as cardio, I wear my HRM and use that number.

Wow - that's a big difference! I"m having a skinnytaste dish tonight - perhaps I need to enter it as well and see if it's accurate (Greek chicken w/artichokes and feta).

Everything in moderation... I detest turkey bacon as well. During the week I do Canadian bacon and eggs and splurge with 'real' bacon from time to time.

Love this site for ideas: http://jog.fm/ You can find music based on pace and by genre (I listen to alt when running - not most peoples cup of tea!)

They add calories in for cardio but not strength training. Depends on how you log the exercise.

Great job! Enjoy the new wardrobe.

I sub runs for kenpo sometimes (I do like it more than I thought I would so if it's a choice between treadmill running and kenpo, I choose kenpo - good weather I'd rather be outside), plyo just about always, sometimes for cardio X. For yoga days, sometimes I'd do Tony's half hour yoga DVD and do a run earlier in the day.

Great job!

Ditto the resistance bands. Do running as a sub for plyo/kenpo/cardiox and one day try to do a routine on your own. If you don't have the DVDs, just grap the workout sheet from the website and do the exercises that way.

Twice a week - Tuesday and Saturday.

For me, popcorn! I love it.

For me, breakfast 1 would fill me up longer. That said, I love steel cut oats and eat them often. PB and banana have more 'staying power' for me.

10k trail run in May. I did it last August and it kicked my butt!! I finished - took 90 minutes - huge elevation gain! So I want to try to shave some time off. May do a 5k trail run in April (not as hilly as the other). Just started jogging again the other week - I'm about 15 pounds heavier than last summer <<insert…

Fruits and veggies - whatever you like. Low fat cheese sticks Laughing Cow cheese - I love it on celery or apples, also great on sandwiches and bagel thins cottage cheese - good with fruit or veggies low fat yogurt tuna fish eggs A few things off the top of my head!

Great job!!

When I was EBF (we didn't start solids til 7 months), I allowed 500 calories a day. Be sure to keep drinking lots of water!

Ditto the V8 rec - so tasty. I put it in my chili too (you can also add corn to that to get another veggie in). Some jarred pasta sauce also has extra veggies in it (I buy it for my picky kids - they don't even realize they are getting veggies in that way) - try serving it over spaghetti squash - yummy and low carb.
-
This sounds great! I love peanut sauce - will have to try this.

My last nursed to 32 months - after a year and a half, I pretty much didn't add the additional 500 calories per day as I wanted to lose some weight and it didn't affect my supply at all. My first weaned at 19 months (we did 'don't offer/don't refuse' at 18 months and about 6 weeks later he was done; his brother went…
