I am 8 weeks pregnant and I know that I need to gain a very small amount of weight each week over the next 32 weeks. What I did was change my goals to gain 1/2 pound per week. Good morning everyone! I just wanted to check in and say hi! Today and yesterday are good days because I didn't lose my mind on a crying jag - one of the benefits (?!) of pregnancy. I feel good today and am ready to eat right and exercise and Be Healthy! I encourage everyone with healthy goals! We can do it!

This is my 7th week of pregnancy. I am so unbelievably tired. I even look it. Tired and cranky and Questioning the sanity of getting pregnant at age 40. I have heard its much harder and so far I am so beat its crazy.

My first ultrasound is not until the 18th. I hate waiting! But hopefully by that time we will be able to see something substantial. I can't wait!

Thank you so much for your help on changing my calorie count. It put me at 1880 which is good plus I will probably end up being under becuase of all the excercise calories I get. I just love this site! It is so cool!:smile:

If that is a current picture, I wouldn't worry about it. Just do your best on a daily basis to eat right. (I am a terrible person to talk - I eat too much of the good food) But you should know that you look good just the way you are. :flowerforyou:

How did you do that? I created an exercise called "Pregnancy Calorie Adjustment" to add more available calories and bring it to 1800 but I am really curious how you change to maintenance.

Please don't give up! The scale can be deceptive. If it goes up a little but you are feeling good and your clothes are fitting well, there is a good chance you are gaining muscle and That is Good! I did not do well the last few days. Saturday my weight was great but Sunday was a big eating day and Monday and tuesday were bad food days with no activity. Yuck. Thank,you very much for the sound advice. I went to a Curves weight loss class and they handed out books that outline specific menu's you have to follow - wow - way too much work and stress for me! I like what you say, everything in moderation.
